Finally got this today! Haven't had a chance to spin it yet but it looks fantastic. Definitely worth the wait and it makes me even more grateful that Polyvinyl repressed this for the people who couldn't get it on RSD.

I really need to give this another watch. I watched it a looong time ago and actually found myself pretty bored. Then again, it was the last movie of a movie marathon day with my cousin and friend. I'm sure if I watch it fresh/not half asleep I'll enjoy it more.

I really do want it. I absolutely love the original film along with the soundtrack. It's one of my most wanted albums right now actually.

Well from what I've learned, it's pretty rare for a horror film to get rated higher than a 7.5 on IMDB. They usually seem to range between 5.5 and 7.5. Anything over a 7.0 is usually really damn good for a horror film. But I wouldn't consider Stoker a horror film by any means. It's mostly a thriller, so if you go in with that in mind you'll be presently surprised. But yeah, Oldboy will probably always be Chan-wook Park's masterpiece, but this gives it a run for the money in my opinion.
