  1. I picked up this LP a while back on pink wax, any clues?
  2. I really dig the whole little "at the party" story going on in the Saves the Day "through being cool" LP. Sure it's just staged photos and not exactly "artsy" but hillarious none the less.
  3. 90% of what I'm into is punk/indie/hardcore, the rest would be the small ammount of jazz, classical or some other type of music that can get my attention. For some reason I can't stand any sort of country music, especially lately when what I do come across seems to propagate the pride of being a "hick/redneck" (we can all thank the post 9/11 south for that). Frankly I'm embarrassed to be living so close to the mason dixon line.
  4. Here's one for ya http://www.needledoctor.com/Clearaudio-Statement-Turntable?sc=2&category=45 I love how there's a quantity and add to cart feature right next to it, like its buying a cd or something.
  5. How much is warped tour now adays? I hear they sell out too? First warped tour ticket I got cost me $25
  6. so awesome, you get karma for that post
  7. I'm gonna be 'that guy' and say it: The last good warped tour was 1999, I've been to two since and its just not the same. Anyone else feel that the turn of the century was a bad one for that tour or am I just gonna become that guy in his 20's who bitches about how it used to be when he was punk in highschool.
  8. A couple of years ago I was in looney tunes on long island and they just had saves the day play an acoustic set a week or so before that and they had a whole bunch of 7"s for "anywhere with you" signed by the band. I bought two but I wish I snagged more, they were only four bucks.
  9. This past weekend and up through today: Dashboard Confessional "Hands Down" UK import 7" Judge "What it Meant: Complete Discography" 2XLP Get Up Kids "Loveteller" 7" Humble Ary "Seneca Falls?" 7" Silverstein "If You Could See into My Soul" 7" (Thanks Virgil)
  10. I've found myself listening to Jets to Brazil's four cornered night a lot lately. Also, I think The Postal Service sounds a lot better on wax.
  11. I'm not sure how rare this record is, it might have been repressed in high volumes. I bought a copy about 4 years back from interpunk thinking it was out of print but they continued to restock them and still have them available today. I got this off the NOFX Wiki site || They Came To Conquer Uranus - 8/23/1995 - Grilled Cheese/Cargo Records || First pressing - black - ?? 2nd pressing - Clear blue - 300 3rd pressing - Clear blue (lighter) - 200 MISLABELLED (Has songs and etchings from Swindle split) - black - ??
  12. I feel you dude, when I saw it I preordered 2. I sent them a ticket to try to get them to not bill me. We'll see what happens. I could use that money now and get it later. I decided to call doghouse cause no one else was selling this release so I figured I'd see what was up. Looks like should have done that before placing the order.
  13. I just called doghouse and they said it won't be out till september. It was supposed to be out in July like smartpunk says but they don't know why its still up like that. Doghouse also said it's gonna be limited to 1000 and 2 colors
  14. Dude, I was just surfing the web (instead of working) and just found out that its coming out July 10th according to smartpunk.com
  15. I don't know if anyone has already said this but I would love to see Say Anything "...is a real boy" on vinyl
  16. yea, I have that pic disc. it's pretty cool, has a live shot of the band on one side and an illustration on the other. god I love that band. I noticed in your list that you have the As Friends Rust fan series 7" do you know if they were pressed on any other colors? I have it on blue swirl.
  17. right now (originally my location isn't up there either)
  18. Pick a region, just thought it would be cool to see how broad this board spans across the U.S.
  19. I think these might be the videos I watched last night (can't check now cause youtube is banned at work) There's also a video up how if you make a simple paper cone out of regular paper and make the tip really pointy, you can put it on a record and hear it pretty loudly. I played around with that last night, works on the same consept as the original phonograph, kinda cool actually. (Try it on a record you don't care about, not sure if it can cause any damage or not)
  20. I agree with PS, for some reason I'm not impressed/excited by picture discs at all. Although I would like to get all of the Rancid picture discs, but only because they'd make for great room decor. Here are the few I own: MxPx - At the Show New Found Glory - S/T Dashboard Confessional - 10" (2 songs, forgot which) Also, is anyone familiar with the movielife's "has a gambling problem" LP? I own that but wouldn't exactly call it a picture disc. Its got a big dice and movie life logo in the center but it's not thick and looks like a typical 12". What would you call that?
  21. Hey, I posted this CD on ebay. I know I know it's not vinyl but I also know that there are some Brand New fans on here who wouldn't mind owning it and I know it's hard to come by. here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/Brand-New-Safety-in-Numbers-split-EP-cd-triple-crown_W0QQitemZ280129275377QQihZ018QQcategoryZ307QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  22. Oakland, is that a reference to Dover Delaware in the 1990s?
