  1. They aren't pulling them out of no where. They refunded some people.... and resold those ones at a higher price. Good marketing move. Still, it's unfair to resell them at a higher price. This isn't ebay...
  2. So unfair what they're doing with the 180G. Pulling them out of nowhere and raising the price? That's a bunch of bullshit.
  3. I thought I was the only one but my second pressing green copy skips also.
  4. I really liked this band at first but then after listening a little deeper, I realized how judgmental and condescending the lyrics are. They really show a "holier than thou" mentality against anyone who isn't straight edge or abstinent if they're not in a relationship. Daughters is the song that stands out the most lyrically.
  5. I ordered the black package, now using this 50% coupon to order the other 3 colors/7 inches. Not a bad deal if you ask me.
  6. Next year when these records come in, it's actually going to be the new Such Gold album.
  7. Just got this in the mail today. You know I noticed a lot of people like to complain about MerchNow's shipping prices, I used to be one of them myself. Today I got this in the mail and this is the second package I ever ordered from them, and both times it was packed better than anything I've ever gotten before, with multiple packages ensuring every 12" and 7" was individually prepared to expect the worst when it comes to the USPS. Pricey, but at least they give you your moneys worth instead of shoving it all into a 12" mailer like many labels do.
  8. I'm going to the last date on this tour, any info on if they'll be preserving some for the whole tour?
  9. I could never get into this band but it's cool to see hard working guys making moves
  10. This album really exceeded my expectations, I think it's amazing.
  11. well look at it from another perspective - iioi and saotw's rare versions have almost (if not 100% of the time) always been black. Touche', Salesman.
  12. I feel like no sleep always makes black the most common variation though, look at TWY, everything /500 except black /600. I'm prob going to order a Black and a Trans Grey just in case.
  13. The Pink/Clear isn't a second press, I talked to Mike the drummer of BTMI about the vinyl and he said that that variation was only supposed to be distributed to stores, so I guess they had a few with them on tour but it's definitely not a second press.
  14. IMO every label should use Pirates Press and call it a day.
  15. I think the existence of this record is one of the big reasons why I'm disappointed in Suburbia. Fireworks completely reinvented themselves, and put together an awesome album that sounds nothing like what anyone expected. This album raised the bar for what "pop-punk" bands should be able to accomplish, and TWY fall incredibly short of it. Their record is just more of what we have been hearing in this genre for years. I feel the exact same way. Because this album was so different, it actually made me appreciate "All I Have To Offer..." more for what it was, and because this was such a step in a different direction (not necessarily a better or worse direction, but definitely different) on top of being one of the catchiest albums I've heard in a long time, it's taken my #1 spot for the year so far. Still waiting on the new BTMI though, which is going to be phenomenal. Suburbia is really good, my main criticism is the lyrics. I feel like Soupy has gotten so used to writing literally that the lyrics in this album are his diary. Every song could go something like "Me and Mikey went to the diner, then I ordered grilled cheese and didn't tip the waitress, then we got gas at the exxon off of exit 4 on the turnpike, and then Jess said I forgot my iPod during the move and I let her keep it, and then the next day we played monopoly at Josh's house outside Philly, it rained." The lyrics could very well be word for word his diary entries. That may have sounded silly, but that's just how I feel. It's waaaaaay too literal. It's a good album, but not better than The Upsides IMO.
  16. Really, really tempted to pick this up. $20 is steep though. I might go to one or two local Hot Topics and see if they have them in stock to save on shipping eventually. Why can't every Hot Topic release be like the new Bayside album for $9?
  17. I saw them in philly and they only had the latest pressing of their split with La Dispute as well as the 3rd pressing of TTBOADH. Not sure if they'll have these later in their tour, but I wouldn't wait just in case you miss out.
  18. I got lucky because 99% of all websites are blocked at my job but for some reason MTS' webstore and paypal aren't. I signed in at 12:07 EST, put a black one in my cart, and it was gone by the time I went to check out which is crazy. I was fortunate enough to grab one with a slip mat. Good thing I didn't try waiting until I got home. Black sold out stupid fast.
  19. That slipmat is seriously tempting. I love my P+P slipat, but...
  20. I'll be at work when these POs go up. I'm hoping and praying that I'll be able to get my hands on a 180G Black by the time I get home. I'm sure I will, but you never know.
  21. I second this, I ordered just the 7" but never got a refund email. I also ordered it within 5 minutes of them going up so maybe I got one of the first few they made available alone before they needed the rest for the packages. Not sure.
  22. You have to order a package that includes it, they sold them alone but those are sold out.
