workshop replied to a topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I know these will not come out at the same time but it would be cool to have a one package deal for all these releases. I would be in for that. Anyways look forward to these records coming out. Any news on the Josh Small release? -

Hey there Just wondering if anyone can help me out? I am going to New York City in mid Nov. and just wondering if anyone can help me out to find some cool record shop. Thanks

If anyone is interested in an update on this thread. I have recoverd the plates for the 2xLP. It looks like I will be passing them onto Skittlesophrenia this weekend if everything works out. It will be cool to see this record come out since I shit the bed and closed up shop before we put this together. It was close I had the test press done and art work had been processed and alls it needed was the green light from us. We also where in the middle of a member of things which never came out under Workshop but that's the way she goes. I hope people will be into these because it was a really good record.

Hello I just cought this post and might be able to help out with the plates for this which would cut a big chunck of the cost for your set up. I have to do some digging around but should have them. I also might have all the art work for this as well. This could could help out with cutting down on the cost. Also I only have two copies left of the test presses but those are for my kids. I saved a copy of everything we did for my boys but everything else is pretty much gone. I have time tomorrow to look around and I will list everything I have and if anyone is interested they can get in touch.

I sold four of my pushead related records fsix years ago for a little over $4,000. Put the money towards the down payment on my house. I was sad to see them go but happy for the extra cash for the house. I also stop doing my label at that time and was able to sell some of my releases to other labels which helped out as well. Anyways to add to this thread Misfits and if the Sex Pistols 7" which was destroyed every came about look out that would go.

The last time I can remember someone getting cut by a skate was the goalie from Buffalo. I think his name was Clint something. I think that was in the early 90's. -

what is screen printing?
workshop replied to thebiglebowski's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
It's hand made. DIY. More goes into it. I would pick up the screened cover over the printed any day. That's just me. -
7" of the month subscriptions question
workshop replied to a topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
To me the money is what it is. Picking up any series limited to 200-300 is going to cost a little but it will be worth it. Shit when I put out my first 7" years ago we sold it for $2 and now 7"s around here average $6-$9 plus taxes. -
7" of the month subscriptions question
workshop replied to a topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
here is what I have so far Ben Nichols / Jon Snodgrass Chad Price / Rocky Votolato Fake Problems / Look Mexico William Elliott Whitmore / Josh Small Chuck Ragan / Tim Barry O Pioneers / New Bruises ?Cory Branan / Austin Lucas? LaGrecia w/ ? American Steel? (need to talk to these guys, this might not happen) Bomb the Music Industry w/ ? Teenage Bottlerocket (might not happen, depends on a few things) and I am trying to do a split with Dead to Me Limbeck w/ ? I am thinking that we will do subscription for the rarest color (out of 200 or maybe 300) and then the rest of each pressing would be available ala carte. what do you think? I would buy into this sub. Sign me up. -
7" of the month subscriptions question
workshop replied to a topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I do not know if you remember when Tree Records did there 7" series but they did a sub. and w/ the sub. you got a 7" that was only for the sub. members. I can not remember the price. That set ruled. I collected both public and the sub. and it was put together really nice. Hand made shit rocks. Tree was a great label. -

We are going to Derek Hess warehouse or shop to chill before the show so I might just wear some new stress threads. -
pretty sure that RAMBO is the best movie ever.
workshop replied to thedisappeared's topic in Everything Else Message Board
First Rambo is classic. I am interest in the one because they blow shit up like the 80's style flick. I do not go for this new computer flicks.
