  1. Is this thing even limited? Seems like there are a million available.
  2. Once the speculators start cutting their losses, the 6-10k people who legit want this will pick it up at normal prices. Don't fret!
  3. They made a ton of these... I have to imagine the price will be reasonable soon.
  4. I didn't get anything here. Too bad, as I have 2 orders from 4 months ago awaiting fulfillment and thought this might nudge them out. Like when you throw a bowling ball down the gutter to loosen the one that's stuck.
  5. I'm F5ing JEW's website. Must. Get. Color.
  6. Hey Travis- Any idea what the difference between the two Kanye West 3XLPs are? Different SKUs. http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Music/V....-LP-365405.js p http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Music/V....-LP-827617.js p I know there was talk about a repress because the original was mastered by a deaf monkey or something and wanted to make sure I picked up the newer press if that's the case. Thanks!
  7. Rock solid zing right there. Unfortunately, it looks like the way this record was "meant to be heard" is either "For $40 or more" or "On your CD or MP3 player".
  8. My favorite part about Jesus marble man is his other items for sale.
  9. I'm not confused, I just want to know how to tell the difference because I'm OCD. I am, however, confused by the lack of download cards in some peoples' copies.
  10. 1) You obviously haven't heard the vinyl pressing of the Foo Fighters' There Is Nothing Left to Lose, which was released on a major label. 2)Just because you're on the Steve Hoffman boards does not make you an audiophile. Funny you mention that release in particular as I just sold a sealed copy from my collection to someone and he wanted a refund because it sounded so bad.
  11. I bet you're right. I just assume it's all vinyl.
  12. The Piebald LPs are up, but not as a bundle. And not in the RSD section on the page.
  13. I found the thread where I mentioned the first two pressings. Can someone confirm which these resemble? http://vinylcollective.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46371
  14. I'll fourth Caution. Top 10 record for me. Hard to sell the myriad variants I have of it, but a necessity of personality as it were. I gave up on the variants once the grey and purple mix made telling them apart a cruel OCD joke. No way of knowing which you got unless it came with a little note.
  15. I definitely cut out all the stickers and slide them into the sleeve. I started doing this after I bought a used REM record that had the original stickers from 4 different REM records in the sleeve and it was like Christmas!
  16. These are definitely new if the DL codes aren't expired. I'm sure they'll start showing up on distro order forms soon. SRC, get these!
  17. I don't know why this band doesn't get more love. Their last two albums are two of my favorites of the last few years. Thanks for running the contest!
  18. Holy shit Millencollin! Awesome! No doubt there'd be some stuff I'd want from both the sale and donate piles. If you found any copies of the American Lesion record floating around the warehouse, I'd donate a high five to Graffin for it. I love that record.
  19. I mentioned a while back that there were two pressings of this record. The second press came with a download code (which is now expired) and there was a sticker stating the inclusion of the code on the shrink. The Epic logo is different on the two pressings as well. If this is a new pressing, the download codes should be valid (the others expired in 2009 or something). Very interested to see what the deal with these is!
  20. Twice the normal price. And 10X the price I could've paid back then but thought "No, I can pick this up any time."
  21. I'm sure the covers will have different logos on the back to reflect whatever Geffen / DGC / whatever is using these days. No doubt. But that doesn't mean people listing of eBay will know/want to mention the difference. Ever try to figure out what version of How Could Hell Be Any Worse you're bidding on?
  22. One source says it's colored. Which means it's probably the same color it was originally. Which means it'll be even harder to tell which are real and which are bootlegs.
  23. Holy shit, seriously? My copy is autographed by all four members; I wonder what that would go for... Maybe less. I see autographed stuff sell for less than the normal selling price pretty frequently. I won a copy of Bad Religion's No Substance autographed by the whole band for $22ppd. When I had to sell it, it sold for $125. I think people in our collecting world don't really know how to value autographs or if to value them at all...
