I'm in Chicago and waiting on an order from, no joke, January (due to some items marked as "in stock" but actually backordered). The order was marked as shipped 2 weeks ago and its status at USPS is still "Electronic info received." My first order from them when they first started was perfect though. Got here in days.

I got mine in Chicago yesterday. Now I can't decide if I care about it enough to keep it or trade down to the standard version. Truth is, I haven't truly loved a Radiohead record since The Bends but I keep buying the fancy versions of them because they were such an important band to me at that time. Hm.

$7 price tag = very recent. Longest standing price on the sleeve, if I recall correctly. I don't think they press anything in the EU anymore (hence the dollar sign there). They pressed everything in France for years and years but those pressings were sold worldwide. Only real EU press was the one with the price in pounds sterling as far as I know, but someone feel free to step in.

I don't see the logic here. If the record will sell for more than cost +s/h on eBay, a flipper will buy it, regardless of the cost. I'll play devil's advocate and say that fewer fans will get it at this price because they have to raise more cash for the purchase and, if they don't have it, they'll have to wait for eBay prices. I don't think that scenario is super likely, but remember that it's not dudes scraping together the scratch for one record who have the capital to "invest" in records to flip. Just a thought.

Missed this thread first time around. But there's a ton of sweet shit in High Fidelity, including a Blue Meanies sticker. Better yet, actual dude from US Maple is the record nerd they won't sell the record to.

Wasn't trying to zing anyone, I was just asking. That's a hell of a markup on a per-unit basis. Last I heard, cost was less than $1/unit for color (though prices may have gone up with vinyl in general costing more these days). Bottom line is Fat is charging what the market will bear. Not very"punk rock" but very "what every business in the history of all time has done in order to stay sustainable."

Yep. Looks like BSM is the only place with the colored vinyl as both other places I preordered it crushed the boner. Grabbed the orange Bad Moon Rising with my order as well.

I received mine a couple weeks ago. Refused on blue, Converge on yellow, etc.

That's going a bit far, but they did veer towards the mock-cock-rock edge with the last record (The Accidental Gentleman) which I didn't get into at all. The other records are still fantastic in my view though, with Venetian Blinds being my favorite.

That's weird, because all my Cows and Hammerhead records were all less than $3. This label has really gone downhill.

I've never heard this band but their name sucks and this single LP is $20 plus shipping? Didn't I just get 3 records from this label for under $30 shipped on RSD?
