For anyone that missed it, the first single 'Can't Deny My Love' is released on the 23rd of March with the album following on the 18th of May. I feel as if Brandon really needed a shake up with his musical output and Ariel may be the best person in the industy right now to do so.

This kind of belongs here as well as the Newbury comics thread but... Googling 'Nick Cave Newbury Comics exclusive' links to a page on their site detailing that Push The Sky Away will be reissued on Clear/Smokey Vinyl limited to 500 Copies. Release date is 24/3 and it costs $25.99

Seems these keep getting pushed back, currently release date in Europe is February 9 (according to Rough Trade) or February 28 (according to amazon.co.uk)

I got mine in the second shipment so I think they may have improved the packaging slightly. Was sent in a pretty standard thin European mailer. I think one of the main issues people had was the fact that the actual 12" can bounce around the silver bag very freely, so even if the mailer is tight for the bag the 12" can still move around causing seam splits etc.

I bought the complete boxset when it came out (LPs, 7"s, CDs. Etc) I think they sound fantastic, really nice reproductions and the packaging is very faithful. I find myself listening to the japanese pressings I have more often though

So a recent Newbury comics email mentions that Nick Cave vinyl exclusives are coming soon. Kinda hoping they're pre orders for the upcoming batch (Murder Ballads, Boatman's Call e.t.c.), not the first batch but I really doubt they would be so considerate hah

There were some rumours going around (based on almost nothing) that frank ocean commissioned his vinyl releases so maybe some of the artists have an under the table hand in all this? Unlikely I'm sure though

This is being released by the same people (Liberation) who did the original and recent red pressing of Pop Crimes, correct me if i'm wrong but i don't believe i ever saw them being distributed anywhere else but Australia
