I'm in love with my aeropress. The way I see it, it comes out as a smoother cup of coffee. Its basically a filtered french press so their aren't the oils and such that accumulate with the french press. In a month, I'll use my french press maybe 7 days and the aeropress all of the others. I wish there was a place other than a major city/third wave shop where you could request a coffee shop make your cup with an aeropress but it's kind of one of those things where you just need to check it out. For more validation, I'd head to http://www.reddit.com/r/Coffee/ and see how much they are in love with it as well.

This is my kinda thread. I brew everyday with an Aeropress (look it up and buy one if you don't know what it is), sometimes I'll change is up with a French press. I pretty much buy my beans from Stumptown and Counter Culture. I use a burr grinder that I recently bought and am very happy with it. Currently I'm brewing beans from Guatamala out of Buddy Brew Coffee in Tampa.

This song is going to be a grower for me I'd imagine. Not a fan of the parts done by los campesinos though...

Finding an apartment around here is god damn frustrating. We pretty much narrowed it down to finding a place in the heights (which appeared to be relatively simple). Then we decided to take a trip to downtown and that's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for (on the cheaper end, a la $1400-$1600). This has proved to be difficult.

They haven't even released a single off of this yet. Ride it out, man. Don't go into it expecting something that it might not even be, whatever you believe that is.

Price isn't necessarily the biggest concern. The thing that is would be that I don't want the woman to have to spend too long on the train everyday so we're trying to stay fairly directly in the middle between Manhattan and SHU. That's great to hear! We're not absolutely married to it so I'll have to look into the places you mentioned. That's what I've been told. I'll be going to the law school on about an 80% scholarship, otherwise SHU wouldn't have been much of a consideration due to price. Thanks man, I'm pretty excited to start there.

I won't be in NYC daily.. I'm going to Seton Hall and she is going to NYU so we need somewhere right in the middle, a la jersey city/Hoboken.. Is Jersey City as much of a shit whole as I've read on random tourist forums..?

My girlfriend and I are moving to either Hoboken or Jersey City next month for school.
