  1. Patrick had to edit the text/ added TP# and used some images from the back to make a screened print image work. Patrick is way cool about working with you to make a one-of-a-kind package.
  2. Got mine a few days ago. Well worth the wait. Already thinking of next one to get!
  3. I worked on Saturday and my wonderful wife went with a list and got a bunch of stuff!
  4. Yeah for $13 shipping I am expecting it to be served on a golden platter!
  5. A bit pricey, but Howl is my personal favorite BRMC album. Will be glad to have this on vinyl finally.
  6. I wish I lived in Nashville, otherwise this video is a tease!!
  7. ordered last night after our conversation on the MWOU post about Anathallo. Kind of noise/dron genre, but too big of a anathallo fan to pass up on.
  8. Pretty odd collaboration, but what do you expect from Sufjan. PO everywhere, here are some site: http://www.insound.com/Beak-and-Claw-Vinyl-12inch-s-s-s/P/INS104745/ http://www.amazon.com/Beak-Claw-S/dp/B0077SXHLC Listen to the whole EP streaming here: http://3voor12.vpro.nl/luisterpaal/albums/s---s---s.html Sufjan Stevens has teamed up with two Anticon artists, Son Lux and the rapper Serengeti for a new project called s / s / s. They'll release the four track Beak & Claw EP on March 20 via Anticon. The six-minute track "Museum Day" features Sufjan singing Auto-Tuned lines alongside rap verses from Serengeti. The EP features vocal contributions from Shara Worden of My Brightest Diamond on "If This Is Real", while Doseone from Subtle and Themselves appears on the closer, "Octomom". Sufjan and Serengeti were introduced in 2009, when they worked together on Buck 65's remix of Sufjan's cover of Castanets' "You Are the Blood" for the benefit compilation Dark Was the Night.
  9. I'm going to Vancouver date. I was tempted to go to Sasqautch, but almost $300 is bit much to see Jack White and few others I would like to see. Anyone else going to Vancouver date? Would love to meet some of my Canuck VC'ers.
  10. I don't know how we got on to a Anathallo tangent on a MWOU post, BUT I agree Floating World is in my opinion one of the most unheard, unknown, under-rated albums of the last 10 years. Remembering and looking at my CD package of this album I think if someone replicated that, they could have a pretty sweet package that I think enough of us would buy. Who do we bug to get this pressed?!
  11. SO when does the PO start for this? Anyone have any leads?
  12. Got my HT order and no swirl, but I got an extra for any international people that wanted it cheap. PM if interested!
  13. Miss the brown first time around so at 430 am woke up, ordered, went back to bed for another 2 hours. Mission accomplished.
  14. Totally backing him on this. It is well worth the price for one-of-a-kind custom artwork. I'm the one that's got the Norma Jean TP box-set in progress and he has been nothing but helpful in making this a special and unique piece. Well worth the investment if you have a box-set or collection of variants from one release you want to bundle and present in a cool package.
  15. Willing to trade or buy off someone that got an extra. Usually on to of these, but totally missed this one!
  16. had to order to keep my complete Chariot minus the elusive pink grateful 7" I can find or get someone to sell!
  17. Wild. This is a bummer. Makes me wish I had kept track of who I sent them to instead of just randomly giving them out, so I could stop this from happening again. Try to give some fans some cool stuff and people that advantage. Also - I really doubt (and hope) anybody would be willing to shell out $80/100 for this. But, if anyone is actually thinking of paying that much... don't do it, and email me. I have one test left and will work out something MUCH more reasonable. That is sad. I can honestly say it is not the TP I got, that one is going no where! As for releasing "Heights" on vinyl you should do a 2xLP with the reg version and acoustic version. John did email a download of the acoustic to those that ordered from original Heights vinyl release and I must say acoustically those song are worth pressing as well. I think John really tried to make good out of a horrible situation with that label.
  18. So I scored a copy of this 7" for a realistic price only to realize that the cheaper price was because it was missing the cover (learned my lesson to always read the small print of an auction!) BUT was hoping someone on here had a copy and could scan the cover and back so I could print it to house this 7" in. It looks so sad right now. I'm honestly going to keep this till I die, so this is not some plot for resale. I tried emailing FIF with no response since they are probably rolling in the couple 100k we gave them on kickstarter. So I was hoping some other collector would be kind enough to help. THANKS!
  19. I'm all about waiting, BUT it has been over a year since this was funded on kickstarter and no word yet of a release date estimate. Just a current update would be nice Chris.
  20. Found a lovely package at my door step after work today. To my surprise I got a test pressing 5/10 and #70/500. I assuming the test is a bizzaro since it says OOP! on it. Great release and great customer service will look for more releases from this label for sure.
  21. The two labels that have release the majority of MWOY albums are Burnt Toast Vinyl and Gilead Media. Some are still available for purchase on their web store of the current variants or both continue to release another variant every so often. It's probably smart to not get into the variants with theses albums because there is now quite a few and it would be costly. Plus your wife will end up asking you why you have 6 of one album!
  22. ORDERED!! Did not know about this release??? Nice surprise!!! Yeah I ordered from the guy that did "Height", what a mess. I did get a lovely hand drawing from John with it though. If anyone wanted a copy of "Height" I have a extra LP, the guy was in a hurry to get rid of them and sent all the orders 2 copies because it came in a white blank jacket w/ no art or insert. BUT PM if anyone wants to make an offer!
  23. I got mine today #2069/2000 I think its lame that they pressed more than stated. Vagrant should of increased the pressing number or just not state the /2000 on the # label, look fishy. Also does anyone know how pre-orders work, b/c I ordered this the day it was up on the vagrant site and got #2069. I knew I was not going to get #1, but at least in the first 1000?!
  24. You should of got a order confirmation email when you ordered and they have a link to check the status. The site sucks, no where to go and check status.
