  1. Anyone else get the Kishi Bashi snowflake flexi? Great idea and great artist!
  2. I believe this will be treated like a few other TMR releases which state they are limited, but number is not disclosed.
  3. Popsike.com and I like discogs if the item has a selling history.
  4. Added my twitter @musicorpnick , I'm just a collector with a habit of buying records!
  5. Yeah soldout on bandcamp awhile ago. Maybe they held a few for retail? I know it said limited to 2000, but are they numbered? Is there any difference between the preorder from Sufjan and retail? Am I asking too many question that no one can answer?
  6. Thats weird? I ordered Nov 10th and my order still shows preorder status, pissed if they start randomly cancelling orders?
  7. Love me some BC deals! Couldn't pass on Beloved test, one of my all time favorites. Also got a few other BC releases I've been missing. Saw the Zao- Parade of Chaos pre-order place holder is down, does this mean it's a no go for BC to release now? Sucks if T&N stops licensing releases for vinyl after discovering they can make a buck off it. Much rather order from a label that is about music and quality of release than big business EMI label.
  8. Ok I've been reading this since it popped back up on the board. Even though I grew up on T&N/Solid State there is very few from a business stand point that make sense to press to vinyl, but this sounds fun to at least list, so here is my 2 cents: The Chariot- all S/S albums, they just need to finally do this. 500 would be gone like ACB's first Dogwood- any early stuff! More nostalgia for myself. Not sure would sell. Stretch Armstong- READ ABOVE Ace Troubleshooter- READ ABOVE Project 86- Honestly "Drawing Black Lines" would sell 500, maybe not in hours, but is worth a press. Blindside- I thought we as VC were trying to press early stuff? My $100-200 for this is waiting! He Is Legend- I am Hollywood (this album art was made for a cool vinyl release) Basically T&N ignores all request. So I say we just send Brent of Broken Circle Records 500 emails of a release request and he'll make it happen. He seems to release everything I would release if I were releasing vinyl!
  9. Kishi is the one test I would of paid for and I missed it!!!
  10. Warning I am only one listen on this album, but I guess I had low expectation with all the other comments. Honestly at first listen it's not that bad. I think people fell for the hype of Chris back and expected "The Moon is Down II", I tried to not listen to it with that perspective. I've always respected the core members of FSF and there evolution as musicians. Sure a couple songs just sound like filler, but there is definitely some solid tracks on here.
  11. I believe they did state they would be limited edition and available till "they met their mark". Typical third man fashion we'll probably never know how limited. I'm guessing a couple thousand though.
  12. For Sale/Trade: http://boards.vinylc...ction&type=sale Have a few randoms I am trying to get rid of. I am very open to offers, I promise I won't bit!!!
  13. I just saw Refused in Seattle yesterday! Definitely one of the top shows I've been to in a long time. For not playing or tour together for so long they were actually really tight and energetic. Like seeing this thread up!
  14. I can't find the test, are they gone? I hate being on the west coast for these east coast pre-orders!
  15. ...And ordered!!! Wish they had a reunion, but the members sound pretty firm that would never happen!
  16. Atreyu is on the list of famous people I went to school with. I remember in junior high they were horrible, then high school they got better and released some solid albums, and then got signed to a major and well...you know how that goes. I willing to give this a listen and maybe grab.
  17. Jack killed it in Vancouver last night! I got there super early and got some great merch and was right up front in the pit. Great show!
  18. I add explicitly in the shipping note that if concerned of damage please request insurance and I mark the packages with fragile in red sharpie, who knows if USPS acknowledge that. I would ask for a picture or for the buyer to return the damaged record.
  19. How do we enter this contest? Has this not been announced? I am going to the Vancouver show and was hoping there would be some lightning bolts but no announcement yet.
  20. True, but worked for my circumstance of having a test pressing of a box set with no artwork or protective storage.
  21. Definitely, I have to hop on that. Do you have sleeves for your tests or are they just in the white inserts? Right now just the inserts, but Patrick is sending some sleeves with a simple album logo for each. Otherwise the records would definitely move around without a sleeve.
