  1. I will be there tomorrow at the opening (hopefully). Can't guarantee anyone a record or anything like that (sorry I really want one and I'm not sure what the line will be like, plus it seems like they're serious about one per person) but anything else anyone is looking for let me know. Also have tickets to the show tomorrow, Thursday and Friday so I could probably snag something late in the week if people are still looking.
  2. UPDATE: I like the song There. There just not as an opener. That, Screen Door, and Vultures are all I can listen to on the album.
  3. The cover is actually like an old transparency from the grade school days. Looks really nice lined up with the record. I swear this color is orange. Whether or not it is the same as the red, I have no idea, it looks like a straight see-through orange. Very cool release. The poster is really nice, and I was surprised at how cool the shirts looked, also glad they are specific for each city. The merch went FAST though. I can't tell you how many shirts there were but they sold out pretty quickly and I think the records were gone almost directly after doors. Don't know about the prints either. Overall, a great show. Short set, but that was to be expected. Happy to be a part of this.
  4. All things aside, I still really like Passing Through a Screen Door.
  5. There is no excuse for the last track on this album. I'm sorry, you cannot copy and paste the choruses of the singles from the album and put them together into one song like that and expect us to believe that you truly worked hard on every single track on this record. There's a difference between a recurring theme and a copy and paste.
  6. Was actually pretty excited to hear this album given "Passing Through a Screen Door" and all the hype behind the record. Severely disappointed. I was digging it until that song Teenage Parents. After that the album got very stale and forgettable. Essentially, this is the In Currents of The Wonder Years. Fun. Can jam to it. Easily Forgettable. Kind of a let down. Also, that last "song" is a joke. I don't understand why they created a medley of the singles off the album... Overall: ~6.5/10 Maybe after a few more listens it'll grow more on me. But I haven't been this let down since Star Wars Episode I (Teenage Parents is the Jar Jar Binks of The Wonder Years world).
  7. Thanks for posting this. This looks like a cool release. Hopefully it'll be affordable!
  8. I saw Chad at the Smiling Moose for the What's Eating Gilbert? show and he said Bridge9 was going to have them up on RSD. Been refreshing everyday on the hour. No luck.
  9. This sound is so good. I am so jealous of everyone who got to see their RSD show in Chicago while I was stuck writing papers and studying for finals.
  10. So after work this morning I went back out to some local record stores around Pittsburgh looking for a T/T/T EP. No luck on that front, but my brother managed to grab one. However, somehow my local Exchange managed to have a Streetlight Manifesto - Everything Goes Numb 2xLP on Red/Grey for $30. Couldn't resist.
  11. Yeah that place was not the ideal set up for such an event haha. The whole working backwards through he alphabet in a single file line was not working for me.
  12. The Attic in Pittsburgh was PACKED. But the place is pretty awesome. Managed to snag G. Love - Bloodshot and Blue New Found Glory - Mania and the Manchester Orchestra split . Great place. Got there at like 10:30 and there was already a line wrapping around the corner. Took FOREVER to check out but it was a cool experience.
  13. I got the Manchester Orchestra but for 15. NFG - Mania for 14 G. Love - Bloodshot and blue for 14 They were all out of the T/T/T records by the time I got in. Really bummed.
  14. Just got back from The Attic in Millvale, Pittsburgh. They do a midnight opening for RSD. Unfortunately, there was only one left by the time I got in the door. These look fantastic though. The etching is really nicely done.
  15. I was talking to Chad last night at his What's Eating Gilbert show. Said the Mania 12" is going to be one sided, with an etching of the Ramones logo on the back side. Pretty pumped about it.
  16. I heard the label is doing a special screen print cover for this starting bids on eBay at $500.00. It'll look so pretty on my wall after I buy it with my mom's credit card.
  17. Gave you a like on Facebook. I have to agree with the post by Exquisite Death that twitter is a great way to expand your user base. I get most of my music announcements and news from twitter anymore. Nice to see such a DIY blog stepping it up!
  18. I'd also like to add to the list of "Cancelled my order because this is too expensive right now and I'd rather wait for HT."
  19. Can't buy records at Warped Tour. There's a reason they call it WARPED tour.
  20. I got the devil. Let's keep in contact. Was kinda hoping for the Pills
