  1. Managed to get one while constantly refreshing at 4:59, simultaneously doing a college radio show about technology. I hope they don't realize I had no idea what they were talking about. Missed the discount code though.
  2. I like PC gaming because I feel like it lets me do more. I appreciate having emulators on my wii, but they don't always function correctly for me. Also, some of my favorite games are PC only, like Starcraft and Starcraft II. Diablo 3 is finally available on console, but I honestly don't think it is as good as the PC version. If you're looking for some good games, I'd recommend checking out the humble bundle https://www.humblebundle.com/ It only has a few hours left, but Arkham Asylum and City, as well as Scribblenauts make it totally worth however much you throw at it. If you're looking for a more team-based multiplayer game, there's always DOTA 2 or League of Legends. Kind of hate both, but always end up playing them somehow... Also, Minecraft for the PC is fantastic. If you end up having/getting it, I'd recommend getting some friends together to do Galacticraft http://micdoodle8.com/mods/galacticraft
  3. My roommates roped me in to playing League of Legends. The DOTA fan in me isn't too happy about it.
  4. To all VCers going tonight: Have a wonderful time at the show. I cannot wait to hear all the stories that are going to make me regret not bring able to go even more. Say hi to Evan from the boards for me. -Dylan A.
  5. I'll have to check it out then. I was pumped when they had the trailers for it, but then school and stuff got in the way.
  6. I need to get HoTS and get back into playing that... My roommates make me play LoL with them though, and everytime I do I always regret it.
  7. Ah, is the Final Mix any good? Been thinking about grabbing it to rebuild my hype before 3.
  8. Which unknown boss? Argrabah's Secret Weapon, or the Clocktower Phantom?
  9. Totally asked to join the VC crew. Can't wait for online.
  10. Thanks for all the suggestions about calling them. Gave them a call. Got it for 324.00 shipped, should arrive this week. PUMPED.
  11. Went to grab this today and the code no longer works with the turntable. Bummer man.
  12. Can't believe I JUST missed Shaun of the Dead and The World's End prints...
  13. Didn't wanna resurrect the old fragrances thread, but I just got a sweet deal on some nice Polo Double Black using some codes at Perfumainia.
  14. I'll be catching the Saves The Day Tour on the 19th and I will try to grab some of these for people on here. No promises, as I'm sure these will go faster than lightning.
  15. Thanks for all the suggestions. I currently have a softmodded Wii (best decision I've ever made with a nintendo product) so I've been playing a bunch of retro games from the NES/SNES/Genesis/MasterSysterm/CD/PSX/N64 etc so I've been playing some old school sonic games (including some newer ROMs of custom made sonic games which are pretty cool). It's real easy to do if anyone has one, no hardware modding required. Also lets you run backups of your games off of an external hard drive. Only problem I've had is with any N64 games done by Rare (AKA The Good Ones like Goldeneye and Conker's Bad Fur Day). Apparently they did all their games a lot differently than the other N64 games, which sucks because Conker's was such a good game and I don't feel like dropping the kind of cash people are asking for on it. As for Sonic Shuffle, I've tried like three times to burn my .cdi file of it to a disc and the dreamcast won't read it. Tried my backup of Sonic Adventure and could only get so far as the first Robotnik battle in the ruins then it crashes. Dunno what I'm doing wrong yet. I've heard the game is REALLY quite boring, mainly due to the addition of loading screens for everything, but I've got a softspot for trying out awful games. I just wanted to grab a Sega CD for the feeling of playing it on the old school systems. The Sega CD is another one you can easily just burn games for. But thanks for all the suggestions guys!
  16. Recently fixed up an old NES, so my days have been filled with playing some Mario Bros/Duck Hunt. Been also working on finding a Sega CD and a copy of Sonic Shuffle for the Dreamcast. Game looks awesome. Also, got an old copy of Star Wars Battlefront 2 for the Xbox. 4-player splitscreen galactic conquests for the win.
