Does anyone know how to tell apart the original 1997 Parlophone OK Computer with the later 2008 Parlophone repress? are they both the same, or is one better than the other?

Not sure if anyone else ordered RTJ1 from that ebay link posted, but I ordered and paid for one, but received an email from the seller just now saying that he is out of stock and the listing was made in error.

Oh no! Depending on my paycheck, I will be picking this up and can possibly grab you a copy if you want to pay shipping and stuff.

Thanks for the link, much appreciated. But you have no idea how big of a bummer it is to be in Canada and read the following on Bullmoose:

 

"We only ship to US addresses, including military bases"

 

i didn't like the packaging on these reissues, they ruined the Lysol cover art (and the album title). I'd prefer to just by them individually and not 2 in 1. 

 

Yeah, I agree with this. At the end of the day, I'm happy that these are albums are available again, but what a strange way to repress them.

This pressing is so odd, none of my local stores even got it in stock, and Plain/Runt has been out of stock for ages. It's almost as if they pressed a ridiculously small amount of these for whatever reason. If anyone knows where to source one new, please holla.

Heads up to peeps outside of EU, Piccadilly Records has this for 18.33 GBP after tax is deducted (if you're outside Europe). That's the cheapest I've seen this LP.

From New On Vinyl? If you're in the US I believe you pay "21%" less than that (plus shipping) if you order from outside Europe.

 

 

Yup, New On Vinyl will drop their VAT (21%) if you're outside Europe.

So I bundled a bunch of LPs and got their free shipping (over 149 Euro), thus my Mezzanine ended up $38 shipped. Not too bad.

 

I'm outside Europe and I just tried to buy this (using Paypal) but I never got the discount. Did the discount get applied automatically when you checked out/paid?

Interesting. Never knew it was reissued on Back to Black.

Thanks for the replies. I don't mind the shipping price as much as the fact that they use DHL, and they might be asking for that silly brokerage fee. Good to hear that some people aren't getting hit with that.

Was wondering if anyone in Canada has ordered any vinyl from Newbury Comics recently, and what the experience with shipping was. It seems like they ship to Canada using DHL, and I was wondering if anyone had to pay extra tax/brokerage once it crossed the border?

I'm finding a lot of Thom's solo/side stuff to be pretty 'meh', this included.

 

IMO, The Eraser is the best one out of the bunch.

Anyone know of any shops in the US that have a decent selection of this kind of stuff? Specifically wondering if there are any shops in the US that stock Serein and Sonic Pieces stuff.
