i think i bought something off rivalsandlovers on ebay. thrice - vheissu? same handle there and the record was packaged well (outside of sleeve, like i requested). over here, i bought from: wheez metaljr and it was a postive, pleasant experience. thanks dudes.

whoa, i had no idea they sold for that much. some guy sold me his around thanksgiving for $12. i didn't even know it was hand numbered and all that fun stuff. i thought it'd have a sleeve with album art like the CD. good luck finding it. i've seen other people on this board sell it before and also for a pretty reasonable price (less than what popsike has it averaging for).

will you guys post pre-order info on your facebook page as soon as it's ready? I don't check this board as often... pretty excited to get this.

that's pretty wild. there are buy it nows going for less. even those are a bit rich for my blood. I put in a couple offers but they got declined. I finally found one for less than ebay rates elsewhere.

i have a sugar daddy. i'm a stay at home mom. i get the :-/ look sometimes when i go a little crazy spending money on records (and anything else), but he got into this relationship 11 yrs ago knowing i love my music (and fashion)...

i can speak french. i write it better than i speak it though because i took 4 yrs of it in high school, took the AP test and minored in french lit in college. my mother spoke french to me when i was little, but it was all simple stuff you'd say to a child and then when i started school, i spoke english and went through about 9 yrs of not speaking french at all. i find when i need to do my french papers, all that government speak causes me to go to the dictionary a lot. what i try to do to keep up with it though is speak with my cousins, but that's also via internet (email, facebook) and i still try to read as much as possible (magazines, newspapers, online articles, books). like someone above said, watch movies and programs with subtitles (or sometimes without, to keep myself on my toes). both my mother and my mother-in-law speak french but we all speak english to each other. i guess if i wanted to be more diligent about maintaining my french, i'd speak french to them, but they're so rigid and critical as it is, i'm kind of "mehhhh" about subjecting myself to even more constant correction and judgement. i can get by conversationally pretty well so it's ok.

hahaha. i bought mine from someone here. sealed and with the 5th disc and letter for $160. he also insured it and got delivery confirmation and threw in another sealed LP.

well, if you decide to sell it, please let me know! if I get the one I really want (blue), I'm letting my black and white go. it's not really practical (space wise) for me to have more than 1.

ya, i'm kind of mad at myself for not ordering it when it went up. i'd pay cost + shipping + a bit extra so maybe $30-35? i have no idea how much TCR charged for shipping.

bummer. i was hoping to get it. thanks for posting that it's gone. if anyone else has a blue they're willing to let go, i'll buy it. i had hoped another retailer would carry it, but they took their time releasing pressing details so i missed out. i have a white from hot topic and a black coming via mail order so i can either trade or trade + money or just flat out pay you. i'm not planning on keeping all 3, it just happens that i pre-ordered the black one without knowing what it would be and then i got the white one in case i can't find a blue one.

i don't have another copy. what if i paid you and you used the money i paid you to buy whatever color copy since you don't care which variant you own? i normally don't care what color vinyl i have, but i do in two cases: if it's blue (my favorite color) if it looks nice with the album art this variant just happens to be the latter...

nah, I didn't bother bidding when I saw it went up over what I was willing to spend. I've got my eye on that other auction but I'm not too optimistic because they tend to go for $30ppd and up on eBay. who knows though... either way, ya, I'm pretty sure I'll get it for the price I want if I'm patient.

Check out popsike.com for a solid mean eBay closing price. thanks. i don't know why i didn't think to look there. duh me. hrm, doesn't seem like SO much. in comparison to what thrice records go for... i bought mine new at the record store when it first came out so i don't remember what i spent on it. i just looked at discogs and whoa, those people are asking for > the ebay mean.

how much did you buy AFI for, if you don't mind me asking. i have that but have no idea how much it's worth. i might sell it some day if the price >>> my desire to hang onto it.

i have a stack (about 10) LP mailers, but i assume shipping might cost more than the actual mailers themselves...
