that's insane. someone in denmark was selling his for $10 via ebay, but had $20 shipping with tracking so i couldn't bring myself to bid when someone here on the boards offered me a black version for $15ppd. no one bid on the danish guy's first listing, but when he re-listed it, it went for $36 + shipping.

did anyone get the digital download for this? i got it for the CA 7" the day before my record arrived in the mail. i got my NYC 7" yesterday but no download code.

i had no idea. it was actually sassy, apparently, since i used to subscribe to jane from day 1 and never got any flexis. thanks for mentioning this. i now feel the urge to have that sonic youth flexi, preferably with the mag so i can read it, too. i see an auction with the mag and an r.e.m. flexi, but i'm not particularly fond of that band...

once i get a copy of vheissu that isn't going for $200+, i'll have every thrice record. i'm not one for collecting all the different variants of each release, so i only have one of each. i'll be a very happy person once that collection is complete. i'm also casually buying various against me!, hot water music and chuck ragan records.

they're using my photo that's posted in here on their page, but they credited me for it so that was pretty cool. glad to finally d/l the album digitally. i've had it for the last couple weeks so i was only able to listen on the turntable.

i definitely had to hold mine up to the light to tell also, as the guy who sold it to me told me. i didn't pay too bad a price for the black copy even though we discussed the "out of 6" pressing. it would be interesting to know how many of each are actually out there but it doesn't really matter to me (ie doesn't bother me if it's not really out of 6) in the collector's sense.

If im not mistaken Chunsaah and No Idea were going to get the shirts pressed after preorders closed based on the #s sold, so thats probably the reason for the delay. Then again neither company sends shipping confirmations so who knows (both are great companies but man does that bug the shit out of me). earlier this week, i emailed them to ask if i could add that bouncing souls "ghosts on the boardwalk" Lp you got and on monday, they told me that hopefully the hwm orders would ship this week.
