not defending them... but the USD to AUD is Shite! and they import most of their stuff from the states... however.. i can still get this for $55 landed in aus... problem is. there just isnt enough consumers/people like the US to warrant more big sellers.. like B&N, Walmart etc... and so JB can charge what they like, preying on the weak  the worst part of it is, it just makes Aus Artists soooooo expensive.. i had to pay $60 for The Rubens - Hoops!

^Yeah that interview is sweet. Surrender is a great song as well. The only song that I didn't immediately love is Late Night Drive. It has a certain appeal, but the other three songs on the EP are so much stronger to me.

 

Bit late to the party but... Glad someone else likes Surrender. I think its my favourite song Daniel Johns has ever written/sung on, and I'm a HUGE chair fan. Why it didn't make Talk absolutely baffled me...

Give it a listen, "Big Machine", "Sympathy", and "Here Is Gone" should sound at least somewhat familiar, they were always on the radio when I grew up lol

There's a gem at the end of the album called Truth is a Whisper. It's my favourite goos song ever (sorry Black Balloon). The emotion and anger you hear in Johnnys voice in this song is like nothing I've ever heard!

That is actually the most depressing news to wake up to possible... I mean theyre going to happen at some point but god damn that Machina/II repress is my most wanted pressing ever. I almost feel that those who pot/don't rate that album never gave it a full chance. Wound, SIYL, Age of Innocence, This Time, Raindrops + Sunshowers, Heavy Metal Machine all rank amongst Billy's/their best work IMO. The flow/light and shade of the album, the concept, hell even the artwork... I dont know how it didn't receive more critical praise.

Ordered signed hot pink variant. To say I'm excited about this release would be an understatement, by far my favourite album of the 90's (sorry OK Computer)

I don't own anything signed by MJK so my decision was easy on this one

I love the 2nd variant. I too purchased each variant of the catalyst fire, but will only be purchasing the one variant this time. Spewing you cant get the acoustic show ticket with the other variant!!
