What did you do with it?
I still have it. Yeah this thread actually gave the LP enough publicity for it to sell out, and its now worth more than i paid for it.
Im a better man for the experience!
-
Every time this board gets bumped a little piece of me dies inside...
I dont even like Train anymore, and the fact I paid so much for this kills me
But hey, atleast i provided some form of entertainment.

Pretty abysmal! I'll have to listen to Change pt 2, normally my favourite song off albums is the last song but somehow this one's escaped my attention!
The new Birds is... really really poppy. And im not ashamed to say i like some pop music but fuck. Universes is in my top 5 albums ever. I loved their self titled. But this is just rediculous.
Theres one good song. Check out 'White Leaves', but skip the rest. Seriously!
Awesome to hear they're starting to gain a following worldwide. Hopefully that pushes some pressure on them to press their back catalogue They toured with another great Australian alt rock band Dead Letter Circus a few months ago and it was one of the best gigs i've been to. If you're not a DLC fan i urge you to check them out, i probably like them better than the 'Vool!

Yeah, about time that these masterpieces get a release (esp. Sound Awake)...was just thinking the other day that I'd probably have to buy SA twice if it ever gets released on vinyl...I would spin that record so often that it would be unplayable after a year!
I listen to Sound Awake daily... Deadman, Umbra, New Day, Goliath, Simple Boy, The Caudal Lure, When the Medicine Wears Off... Not sure how they haven't made it massive outside Australia yet, Ian Kenny is a freaking genius....
Well... Until he ruined Birds of Tokyo with that latest album of vomit he released!
-
^ I love your DP Cant wait for Assymetry, Sound Awake and Themata to be pressed
-
Will need to ask my friend who just went to USA for work&travel if he could buy one for me because 46$ shipping to EU is a joke
Fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
-
Cant preorder in Australia.
What the fuck!!!!
-
Strunk is one of the coolest songs ive heard in ages...
-
I hope it isn't like the other Die Antwoord albums that has 3 or 4 absolutely killer tracks and the rest of the album is just filler.
I think $O$ had 2 filler tracks (Dos Dronk and Wat Kyk Jy?), i thought every other track on that album was awesome/definitely listenable at worst...
-
Initial thoughts anyone? Im at work and wont be able to listen to it for a few hours!
-
For $50 you get the vinyl and 2 CDs. So basically 3 albums. Its not too bad a deal!
-
I was gonna post this but figured 99.99% of the crew here wouldnt have heard of them. If I personally know 10 others who preordered this I dare say this will be happening
-
I like Die Antwoord. I think they're awesome and do very unique and awesome music. But I'll admits that "Pitbull Terrier" didn't grab me as much as I hoped for. It's alright.
Im in this boat. Its not my favourite die antwoord song but I think its OK. I haven't been a massive fan of any of their singles though. She Makes Me A Killer > Enter the Ninja. Never le Nkemise 1 > I Fink U Freaky.
-
That new "Pitbull Terrier" song is awful, but I kick myself often for not picking up their last two releases when they were widely available. So, I'll probably have to get this.
Im pretty sure $O$ never got pressed, only Ten$ion. So you only have to kick yourself half as much now.

i really hope this cd box set sticks with the small box pattern that the first 3 and TAFH had, and has the $35 price tag like the first two did.
i've been buying the cd boxes because i already own all SP vinyl, tho i did opt for the TAFH vinyl set for obvious reasons.
but it's starting to get ridiculous the way they've been pricing these after siamese dream, pisces was $45 because of the extra tape (but worth it, imo), MCIS was over $100! thats insane too me. i still haven't bought the MCIS set because of that.
edit: i just noticed it's a six disc set. goddammit.
im really stoked for the b-sides, i'd love for an early recording of
'let me give the world to you' to be on here, as well as remasters of 'chewing gum', 'soot and stars', 'winterlong', 'do you close your eyes', 'jersey shore' etc.
maybe some TEBITE alternate takes?
Im happy to pay a price a la TAFH, provided we're given enough content to justify the price. If theres 6 discs, i think theres more than enough content to justify the price tag. Can't wait to hear some early recordings/outtakes/demos of appels + oranjes, annie-dog, pistol pete and dusty, daphne decends etc.
And then we have the masterpiece that is Machina I/II after that... Oh boy!!!
-
Are you talking about the new BC solo experimental stuff "1st pressing /250?" Probably. SP fans are rabid.
I was wondering this also. If so, where is this up for sale? Pricey, but cool!
-
Ended up pulling the trigger on the silver at $67 USD. Anyone know if the sleeve will be numbered or if it will be numbered on a shitty slip that comes with the vinyl like the last ones I bought off SRC came with?
-
They slapped on a nice $28 postage fee to Australia.
Praying this becomes available on Amazon
-
Any reason why you're parting with OKC? I can understand Hail not being everyone's cup of tea, but c'mon...
Hail is my favourite radiohead album! Sail to the Moon, A Punchup at a Wedding, Wolf at the Door... If they aren't anyone's cup of tea, they're drinking the wrong tea
