I always thought Machina was their most accessable. I really atruggled to get into their earlier stuff at the start and it was Machina that got me hooked on them. Adore is my favourite album. But Siamese is also a good starting point. Mellon Collie can be a bit intimidating at first due to sheer weight of number. Its a huge collection of songs!

It said 'the first 100 copies will be signed and include the photos' and that message was taken down a day or two later so im guessing that sold out quickly and now theyre just offering what everyone else is ?

Unlucky for anyone who lives outside America, Universal have the rights to this and the packages are extremely limited and double the price of myplaydirect.

I live in Australia. This will retail for $50 here. Or i can spend $125 and get it personally signed.

Plus i drink 5 cups of a tea a day. So its not like im wasting $100. Yeah i would've preferred the signed and non-personalized copy but im not overly fussed.

EDIT: A non personalized autographed copy was available so i snagged that. I emailed them asking to cancel the personalized order. Anyone dealt with them before?

I actually dont even care what the price of Machina is. I really hope Billy goes all out with the release, ive got a good feeling he will with all the initial release shite he had to go through, I think he wants to do it properly this time... By far my favourite Pumpkins and probably one of my all time favourite albums.

Dont mind the price. Disappointing the album doesnt have more Sampha on it. Those two together work phenominally well and sound fantastic. He really should just make Sampha a permanent fixture and have the odd guest vocal/instrumental.

Seeing a re-issue of Machina is probably a pipe dream at this point.

It'll happen. Its just probably going to end up being 2013 by the time it comes out.

For anyone purchasing this in Australia, the reason the one on their webstore is so expensive is because its limited to 100 signed copies with a heap of photos included.

Not sure if you think that justifies an extra $15-20 over Amazon but im happy i ordered through them

Crazy how it's actually cheaper for Australians to buy records from Amazon US/CA and have them shipped than it is to buy them from our local record suppliers...

Amazon shipping from the US is generally cheaper than our shipping from 50km away. Hence why i was so suprised to see $3 shipping!

Super pricey at $55 for a 2LP but shipping in Australia cost me $3 for 2 copies of this, which kind of makes it a bit easier to swallow. Not sure how much shipping is going to cost for those outside Australia though...

Anyway im looking forward to this release so thought id share the PO around. As some would know their last LP is worth rediculous amounts, I didnt want to risk this selling out and missing out!
