Circa Survive Discography Reissue ?
tape replied to the_greatest_lie's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Well, Travis said (in this thread) they're delayed, and since he's actually in charge of it, I think it's pretty safe to assume that he's correct.- 1,936 replies

on a terribly-titled thread. I clicked just because it was so vague and I was curious what the hell it could be about,

oh fuck yes I am so down. -
this would have worked out better if you just said that last sentence to yourself before posting your initial comment. if you don't like it, great; it's not for you and you get to listen to something you do like.

Boards of Canada Represses 2013
tape replied to Thom Yorkified's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
the cool thing about BOC is that, at least in my mind, none of the albums are any "better" or "worse" than the others, they just evoke slightly different moods. different sides of the same Rubik's Cube, if you will. that said, I'll always have a soft spot for Music has the Right to Children. I dunno, it was first. you always tend to feel the most connected with what a band was doing when you discovered them, ya know? -
I have no doubt that it would move if they pressed just because Swizzle is just about as big as pop stars get. I'm just saying maybe they're not really thinking about pressing vinyl because vinyl isn't on their Nashville/country minds as a format like it is for rock/punk/electronic people. I mean like if they were thinking about it at all, they could come up with crazy expensive vinyl deluxe editions because someone would buy it. Instead, their general target market for country(/pop) audiences is CD buyers at Wal-Mart and Target, or iTunes.

are records not as big of a thing in country circles? I really have no idea, I'm just curious if that's maybe the case.
