    BLACKLISTED - Dry Shaving 7"

New two song ep from BLACKLISTED. Both songs were written during the WPGPG sessions but were considered non-cohesive with the album and left unfinished at the time. The recordings were recently finished and polished up by producer Will Yip and are presented here as a limited edition picture disc flexi. Each copy is numbered and is strictly limited.

Two versions: /300 regular and /60 Belgium edition

I was able to snag both. Will always support this band.

  2. I'll be seeing the Amenra, Converge, Neurosis show on Monday in Philly. I honestly don't know how many times I've seen Converge. However, one of the first few times I did see them was at this place called the Stalag 13 in West Philly in the mid-90's. My friends and I often said it was a squatter house, but seeing Converge in their early stages was definitely a treat. Shit, that was over 20 years ago. Fuck, i'm old.

As far as the 7", obviously I am getting myself one especially with being only about 10 pieces away from having their entire catalog on vinyl minus the test presses and the limited YFM presses. I am picking one up for a friend, but if I am able to pickup others I'll reach to a few of you who want the purple variant.

I will have to check that place out the next time I'm in London.  Looks killer.

....as for crucial E Wiz albums.  I think the most acclaimed are Dopethrone and Come My Fanatics.  If you ask around though you'd get differing answers from a lot of people.  Personally I love the S/T and Come My Fanatics.  We Live would be my number 3 choice.

Supercoven should also be checked out.

  4. Preorder is live.

Looks like Spelljammer's Inches From the Sun is going to get the LP treatment. Can't say I'm not excited about it even though I'm still not crazy about Riding Easy.

The preorder is up at Riding Easy. Two variants. Black and Clear.

  6. I passed on the test presses and Die Hards. Went with the 180 gram. Just wasn't paying those insane prices. Plus, since Riding Easy never includes a download card i'll have to shell out more cash for a digital download because for fuck's sake I can't play my records in my truck. God forbid Nissan would include a record player in my Pathfinder.

But mainly came to post this -  New Ufomammut up for pre-orders.  Shipping in sept. Ltd /500 with alternate screenprinted cover and on red wax.

Anyone remember how long Ecate's LTD edition lasted for? Would love to get it this time around but shipping even through Europe is quite high. I reckon I'll regret not dishing out the 50$ for something that will run at least twice after it's sold out.  By the sounds of the two singles so far, I've got a feeling this record will blow their previous one (which I quite enjoyed but didn't get have much replay value to me) out of the water. Am also personally more into the aesthetic of this release.

listened to this twice over the weekend and couldn't pull out anything other than meh. I'm trying to see the hype in this project but it's not there for me.

I've been a fan since their first release. Anyway, I recommend you  check out their back catalog. You will be able to see their growth and how they get better after each album. Dead Roots Stirring is my favorite song by them but Lore is my favorite album. However it could be replaced with Reflections of a Floating World after a few more spins. Don't write them off so quickly.
