  1. I once worked on a beef jerky account that wanted to focus on action sports (primarily skate and BMX) to launch a new product. The athletes and endemic media were generally nice enough and willing to work with us. Despite their cordiality it was pretty embarrassing to explain that we were, in fact, doing photoshoots and ad work for meat snacks. The amount of money being spent dictated it was in everyone's best interest to treat us with some modicum of respect but it was pretty clear that they thought our involvement was, in many ways, a joke. Long story short, I can tell you first hand that it isn't fun to be an industry joke, even when you have a lot of cash to toss around. I can't imagine what it is like without any money. This label must be tough to run.
  2. 150 dpi should be sufficient for most digital print work. Matt is correct that 300 is the standard but if you have assets that you want to use but are too small at 300 you can cut that number in half pretty safely as long as you going offset. Which you aren't. If you PM me a link I will open it in PS and tell you if necessary.
  3. Then again, you're the kind of dipshit who probably uses Objectivism to rationalize wage theft or some shit like that.
  4. Drive to VT and drink good beer. The Armsby Abbey in Worchester has some good stuff too. Outside of going into Boston though, I can't help you.
  5. For a guy all about hardwork and personal responsibility you sure waste a lot of time on the internet.
  6. Seems as though we've lost most of the EPL fans on the board. Glad your boys got promoted, I watch about zero Championship so I didn't get a chance to follow along much last year. Transfer window could be interesting this year. You think Vardy will hit Arsenal? Seems crazy and not a really great decision for either side. Frankly, I'd like to see that whole group back together at LC to see what happens in the Champions league. Personally, I'm hopping the new appointment at Everton can help the club crack the Europa at least, seems like the talent should be there. I hope so.
  7. I guess your work is done here, you can continue using your regular account now.
  8. The problem I have is what is the endgame in that scenario? Obviously the well-being of both parties is intrinsically inked, so, how do we punish a bad decision in a way that doesn't impact the well-being of this theoretical child while also incentivizing better decisions in the future? Can you do both? Should we do either?
  9. Last time I went, about a month ago, we stayed right next to it on St. Denis. I poked around for a minute but didn't give it much of a shake, it seemed fine and I would go again. L'Oblique and Atom Heart are also within walking distance. Frankly, lots of stuff is in walking distance if you don't mind a stroll, you are in a great location. Feel free if you want to PM me and ask about anything else. Shops, food, beer whatever. Have fun.
  10. The first reply to my original post are the three shops worth hitting up that I've come across. If you are coming up I-89 they've been running multiple hour waits at the main crossing every time I've been over this spring.
  11. Hey, hey, hey, hey, now. I yelled first. My turntable and everything else is in storage at the moment so Butcha can and should have first dibs.
  12. Your position is that Pew data is evidence that the world Muslim population is neither peaceful nor accepting of others and the majority of Muslims, taken on a global scale, are bigoted? The point of sharing that knowledge is to help others, VC members in this case, better understand that their anecdotal experiences with domestic Muslims have potentially given them the wrong idea about the faith and by extension, the people that practice it.
  13. Sure. Fine. You're free to support and extol the virtues of any candidate you choose. But what does that have to do with Pew's research on Asian and African muslims?
  14. For the life of me I can't figure out what your actual point is. I even read all the posts.
  15. I decided to take a little break when I was having too many "this person on the internet is wrong!" moments. It's all smiles and tequila over here now.
  16. Good for you. You're good enough, you're smart enough, and doggone it, people like you.
