  1. I got an Explosions in the Sky print of his years ago, before his demand got really crazy. Nice guy.
  2. I don't get the impression that many people here use RYM, but I use a script called scRYMble from time to time since my entire collection is already cataloged there. It basically uses the track list from a RYM release page as a guide to either scrobble a past play or scrobble the release in real time. You don't have to be a member to use it.
  3. Ooooo. Nice call. Great record. Gf got it for me for x-mas. When did you buy yours?? The price on that fluctuates a ton. I got it on eBay a few weeks before Christmas last year. There were three that came up in quick succession at that time and I snagged the second. Yeah, the blue and clear pressings fluctuate a lot... probably because nobody really knows the pressing info for the release so it just comes down to who wants to pay what at that given point. All I know is that the clear was the first press in 2003 (CD came out in 2001) and explicitly had a sticker on the shrink that said "Limited Edition." Then it was repressed on both blue and black at some later time.
  4. $55 ppd for the clear vinyl press of Blue Screen Life by Pinback to complete the collection.
  5. First I was thinking about either cutting the legs shorter or not using the legs at all and putting some kind of feet on them (sort of like Slinch's picture), but I didn't like the idea of the tables not being sturdy, able to slide. So the way I built it, all the legs are attached so that it is one, sturdy piece (it's not just two tables stacked on top of each other). The way I built it, I first just assembled one as directed with the provided double ended screws (this is the middle board and bottom legs). Then I screwed (with my own screws) the top of another to the bottom of that one (that's the bottom board). Then all that's left is the top board and legs, which looks like another normally assembled table, but it isn't. The legs are pre-drilled only on one side, so the legs at the top are flipped and the screws used for the bottom of the top legs and the middle board are shorter double ended screws I bought myself (they need to be smaller so that they do not run into the screws in the lower table). Then I just screwed the top board onto the top legs with my own screws. Hopefully that made sense.
  6. Another EXPEDIT: 45s in cardboard boxes: The EXPEDIT isn't deep enough for my turntable, so I built a cheap A/V rack out of three LACK side tables:
  7. Maserati and The Mercury Program. There are many other good ones, but these two are the only ones of the genre I can listen to whenever, without being in a certain mood.

  9. First time poster, long time lurker... Here's my Pinback collection:
