Will be going to this, hoping for YFW and Deja, but how can you complain about TDAG and Daisy?

 

Does anybody think they're going to be playing them in consecutive order based on the dates?

 

First night first two albums, second night the third and fourth?

Greatest Hits. Nice. That's the only one I don't already own. 

By the wording of the statement they released today I would expect them to play all of those songs, wouldn't you?

That's what I'm hoping for. I got presale tickets for night 1. Hopefully that's Your Favorite Weapon and Deja Entendu. Going to try for night two on Thursday when regular sale goes up. 

Late Registration and College Drop Out sound like shit, right? I own them but haven't listened in a while. But I remember them both sounding terrible on vinyl. 

Yeah it sounds okay, mine has a weird skip in No Church For The Wild during the chorus both times. It's not a picture disk, a smokey-clear disc. And it's not shiny on the outside. 

I tried buying it but it wouldn't let me add it to my cart! I got Graduation and Yeezus though. 

It won't let me add Watch the Throne to my cart. 

They also have a Watch the Throne 2xLP that isn't the deluxe $120 edition. Anyone heard this?

I'd actually be really into this if it contained a remastered version. Not that the 1st press was done poorly or anything, it's a great sounding record buuuuuut there was definitely room for improvement.

Really? Everyone I know who owns it says it is one of the best sounding records they have ever bought. I agree with them.

I'll buy stuff on cassette if it's the only format it's released in.  It's far from my preferred format, obviously.  I picked up a Technics tape deck for $1.25 at a yard sale over the summer, and while it doesn't get much use, it's functional and that's all I was looking for.

Ahh okay. I haven't listened to a cassette in probably 15 years and I don't remember them sounding good at all. That's why I was wondering why anyone would collect them.

Great choice. Once you burn them in, consider a portable / lightweight amp. They'll sound so much better than they do out of the box.

Audio Technica ATH-M50. My first "real" pair of headphones. Not sure how much I'll be using them so I wanted something inexpensive to get me started. 

Just got some new headphones. Been waiting until they came in to give this a good spin. FINALLY listening. 

Amoeba SF had a ton of them yesterday as well.
