Same, it's a good album... but not by Thrice standards. These songs are so run of the mill and homogenous that I'm not an iota surprised the packaging is devoid of any substance... could you imagine the band trying to fill out liner notes for these songs?
Dustin- I sang like words on this one.
Teppei- I wrote this riff on a guitar.
Riley- There was percussion on this song.
Eddie- We were drinking some PBR's and watching Stranger Things in the studio when we were supposed to be writing. Then we banged this one out in ten minutes before our session was up. My bass is the best thing about this album, btw.
Pretty cool variants though.
But the splatters!!!! Seriously tho I haven’t listened to the album yet so idk is it dad rock? Is it Beggars 2.0? Time will tell...

Don't know if I am remembering the lyrics correctly, but shit if it didn't feel great to be 16 and jamming to this shit out loud.
What about 29? As in right now? Hehe

So many lines from songs off this album were on scene queen’s AIM profiles back in the day.

I just don’t hear the Dad Rock vibes from Thrice. Disclaimer- I am not a dad.

Holy moly did you hit $500 with shipping?
I wasn’t able to get everything so I’ll be looking in the secondary market but even then yes it was close to that (there’s also a EU/UK variant out)

Sorry for the bump, however, a new song is coming soon. I don't have an exact date but I was told within the next 2-2.5 weeks. I know that doesn't narrow it down much but it's supposed to drop by the second to last week of August (week of the 20th, if not sooner). Just a heads up for you thrice fiends.
I try to hold off on songs from an album I’m excited for. What about you?

These albums are so special to me but I probably won’t buy it. I bought the How To Start A Fire repress and along with Lowborn, they are the 2 worst sounding albums I have.

Still love TDWP. SWS and AA had their moments with me, but $17 shipped for a single song?
