  1. Talked to a guy at Q Audio in Cambridge, MA yesterday while searching out a white DC who said every color is back-ordered when they go directly through Pro-Ject (they had about 7 in stock, but none in white). Ended up ordering one off Crutchfield for the normal 399 after checking a few other places since they offer free 2 day shipping. Price/availability aside, wicked stoked to finally have a decent turntable within the week.
  2. It sounds like you bought the records because you like that record and like the limited variant (which sounds pretty sweet actually). So unless you're planning to flip them, why not scratch one and have a cool display?
  3. Can't find it reading back in this thread, but did we ever get any idea as to what the /1 auction winner chose for his/her variant? Curious to hear what that ended up being...
  4. The band themselves said there's just been a holdup at a pressing plant due to a large number of projects/orders within the plant. One of them (I forget who) said they expect the records to arrive within the next two weeks.
  5. I'll order this mostly because I like the idea of being able to hear one of the greatest albums of my lifetime without ever flipping. The etched B-side is an awesome idea too, excited to see how that turns out!
  6. Excited to hear how this ends up being. Holding off on upgrading to a Debut Carbon until it's clear whether this is really the best bang for the buck...
  7. So bummed about the Canadian shows being dropped. Will still go to Montreal for Title Fight, but I'm debating driving down to Boston the next night for B&C. If I don't end up making it down, someone want to grab me a tour variant of The Things We Think We're Missing?
  8. Any US sites have this for pre-order yet? The Love Club EP has gotta be my favorite pop release (usually not much of a fan of this type of music).
  9. Man I REEEEALLY don't have 130 bucks to spare but I REEEEALLY want this box set. I'm torn... And probably will cave.
  10. Looking to make a little room on the shelves and in the dresser. Shipping from Vermont, will ship to Canada (postage costs ain't pretty though). PM me or email me at [email protected] with offers! May also entertain trades, mainly for hardcore records and merch. Just about everything is in near perfect condition. I baby my collection. 11. Stoked for this! Also, opaque beats translucent any day.
  12. While this thread is bumped, anyone heard any news on the Bronx boxset that was supposed to happen?
  13. It goes without saying that if someone who already has a color copy happens to be at that show and happens to grab an extra, this guy right here will put in a little extra for your troubles...
  14. Not counting boxsets, 35 for Big D and the Kid's Table - Fluent in Stroll double LP. My all time favorite album and a steal for that price...
  15. Dammit, been waiting on this forever and missed the limite version while at work. Is anyone going to one of the release shows that could grab me a copy? I'll pay for shipping plus a little extra for your trouble... One of my favorite bands and would hate to miss out on this.
  16. I actually emailed them the other day and they said that the first test presses were messed up, so they had to get it redone and it should be ready to be shipped sometime this week.
  17. Absolutely love this record. Definitely their best since Futures in my opinion (maybe even better).
  18. Both albums are incredible. I was more excited for Stroll since I love that side of the band, but I think Stomp is actually the better of the two. It just never let's up for a second. That being said, Stroll has some of the coolest songs Big D has ever done and features a LOT of the Doped Up Dollies, which is a good thing in my book. Also, people need to remember that Kickstarter is a donation-driven site. The records and shirts and stuff are just thank you's and incentives. Everyone who donated was more than aware that they were DONATING to the band because they probably love what Big D does and wanted the records to turn out great. Long story short: Kickstarter is not a webstore.
  19. Looking for a copy of Big D and the Kids Table's Fluent In Stroll. If you've got one you're willing to get rid of, PM me! Set a price or tell me to make an offer!
  20. Am I the only one here who thinks Fluent In Stroll is their best work and one of the greatest albums of all time? This is coming from a guy that's been a huge Big D fan for years, love everything they've ever put out.
