The EP is kind of like if It's All Crazy! was more nuanced and atmospheric. I dig it. 

I do hope that means they saved the heavier stuff more in line with Julia for the album though.

As an aside - the deluxe version of Pale Horses that I own always makes me laugh because I've never seen a vinyl mock-up be further off from the final product. 

This song is so freaking good.

So what exactly was on those unmarked vinyl they sent out? 

 

This album is great. I think it's their most cohesive work so far which says a lot given how many different directions it goes in. 

I pre-ordered but it looks like my copy isn't going to get here until the 15th. 

If anyone has an extra please let me know I'm so bummed I missed it!

In any case, they - any victim - should probably seek out help (legal or otherwise) in the light of things as it'll solidify truth instead of floating as rumours.

 

Welp. This is pretty fucking disheartening. 

Oh, and they've been removed from two festivals already.  I've seen a handful of stores refusing to sell the album as well. They're probably done for. I thought their "apology" on Facebook was really poorly executed.

Anyway, I am deeply saddened by this news. PWR BTTM was quickly becoming one of my favorite bands and like I mentioned before in this thread the new album was actually really good. Unfortunately I have absolutely no desire to listen to it now. Also don't know what I'm going to do with my tickets to their upcoming show, if it's not cancelled in the first place.
