  1. Personally, I'm into live stuff if the band does stuff significantly different from what they do on their albums. If the songs sound exactly the same, or they don't have some crazy live show, then I wouldn't buy it.
  2. There are a few copies up on Amazon for about $5.
  3. I have this stuff: Black Sabbath-sabbath bloody sabbath Vanilla Fudge-s/t Rolling Stones-Aftermath Allman Brothers-Brothers and Sisters Led Zeppelin II (really trashed, pen marks, a phone number?!?, some tears) The fudge, sabbath and stones jackets have records, but they barely play, I can toss them if you just want the covers, or include them if you want to pay the extra postage. send me a pm if you are interested
  4. Man, I missed the reef part, but I started to watch this but couldn't handle it. But, I think it made about as much sense as anything I've heard McCain say lately.
  5. Set Sale. Shipping is $3.50 media mail with delivery confirmation, $5.00 with insurance. If the record you want is only $1 or $2, please buy something else, it is not worth it to me to just ship one cheap record. PM me with any questions. Most of this stuff is in excellent/near mint shape. I will play test everything, and I always ship in record mailers, with vinyl outside the jackets. 13th Floor Elevators - The Psychedelic Sounds of the... 6. Graveyard-s/t on Tee Pee Records. This has been in steady rotation for months now, I can't get enough of this! RIYL: Witchcraft, Black Sabbath Favorite Track: Satan's Finest You can get it from the tee pee site, and interpunk, I think.

  8. There is an indy music store, I think it's on the Business 40 route through town, right near the main street (i don't remember the street names), but I'm pretty sure they didn't have vinyl when I passed through there 2 years ago. Maybe they do now?
  9. It depends what I'm searching for. For example, I just got a copy of Coltrane's Ascension from a canadian seller, and I just found it by doing the quick search for Coltrane/records. It was mixed in with all the US sellers. I also search a lot for some Japanese pysch bands, and US and japanese sellers always pop up together. I never use the advanced search option, unless I'm looking for completed listings. I get a lot of UK items that pop up when I do searches as well. Is this really uncommon?
  10. I didn't even know about the worldwide search, but I don't really like to pay the extra postage, so I try to stick to US sellers, and maybe Canadian sellers if they have a good deal. But, usually stuff pops up from all over the world when I search anyways, so what is really different about the worldwide search?
  11. Renter's insurance should cover their equipment and personal belongings. It worked for me anyways when my stuff was destroyed in a crash.
  12. The Century Media online store has everything (including vinyl) at 15% off until July 6th. If you like metal, you might find something good here. They generally have cheap prices, and cheap shipping. https://www.cmdistro.com/index.aspx
  13. I have a quiet riot-bang your head(metal health) 7", and a devo/james brown split 7" (I think its from a soundtrack or something) that I don't really want. PM me if your interested.
  14. I'm a bit in the libertarian camp here, I think people need to be able to get weaponry and the government shouldn't be the only folks who have or can have guns. This specific law though, it seems right. DC had issues with violence and an extremely high rate of violent crime. It seemed giving the police the ability to get after people for having guns makes sense. Though, I will say, if you have to take classes and get a license to drive a car how come the same basic thing doesn't apply for gun ownership? The argument about the government not being the only ones able to have guns doesn't make sense. What, if some individuals have guns the government is supposed to be scared? Are we more protected from the big scary government? The government is always going to have more and bigger weapons, and having the individual right to bear arms doesn't make any difference at all.
  15. Some of it has to do with the rarity of certain pressings in other countries. I know I've been wanting copies of Sabbath's dehumanizer and Judas Priest's painkiller, but I almost always only see Brazil pressings. I think there just might have been more of them than US or Euro pressings. Or that album might have never been pressed at all outside of Brazil.
  16. I would, but the shipping cost is about equal to the price of the LP I want, cool store though!
  17. I don't know any of those bands you listed, but check out: the Graves at Sea/Asunder split LP, if you can find it, it is awesome just about anything by Electric Wizard, but Come my fanatics, and Dopethrone are essential Corrupted-anything Ancestors-Neptune with Fire Gorguts-Obscura, maybe not technically considered doom, but this is slow, sludgy technical death metal that is amazing. Also search for the "doomed to be stoned in a sludge swamp" and you'll find more than you need
  18. Sorry, I don't really know the history of this record. It's stamped in the lower right hand corner on the front of the cover. On the inside, it is stamped "second pressing."
