Ultra mega bummed that I didn't go to that show with it only being about 90 minutes away from me. It sucks not having any friends left in town that actually like to go to shows.

I went into Long Lost with low expectations based on the first single or two, and was blown away by how much I enjoy it. Still spinning it regularly.

Call me a fanboy if you want but I love pretty much every Deftones album from start to finish. It's almost too hard to rank them in any specific order. The only LP I've needed to complete their discography (if you even count it) is Covers, and I lucked upon a new copy on eBay last night with a BIN of $20 with $4 shipping. Definitely pumped about that seeing as I really hate paying more than about $30 for a single LP, and I almost never saw this go for less than $40.

I've liked the majority of the releases, probably only flat out didn't care for the Hundredth release so far. Definitely looking forward to Sainthood Reps, the Swellers, State Faults and the sub exclusive LP. If the Adventures/Run Forever and Moose Blood/Departures splits make it out this year they should also be solid additions.

I could be wrong but I think his eBay listing is being misread by some of you. I don't think he has 2 copies of each color, in the eBay listing it said something along the lines of "want to keep 1 of each". I think what he meant (based on later comments) was that he wants 1 of each pressing, not 1 of each color. Which tons of variant collector's do, seems like he was going for that but has given up hope due to a color he could never obtain and not wanting to deal with tracking down the variants of this pressing.

I know how you feel. I saw AWK with a full band at Warped about a decade ago and I kid you not it started raining during I Get Wet. It was so awesome!

Found out I start a new job on Monday earlier today. Said job involves a lot of travel, not sure where I'll be headed for the first week yet. Stoked on new job, bummed on waiting longer for GTA.

Just snagged a new sealed copy of Deftones Covers on eBay for $24 shipped. I've been trying to snag a copy of this for less than $30 for a while, it was the last Deftones LP I needed to have a full set. Oh and I got offered a new job contract today. Fairly lucky day, yay!

Chris once told a member on the board that it shouldn't matter that the test he received from NS was warped, because tests are "not meant to be played". Maybe he really meant that and wasn't just trying to avoid having to make the exchange...

Jackpot, snagged a black along with both of the I Kill Giants releases. Thanks for the heads up! Derrick doesn't really do that. The records come in when they come and then you get them. Every now and then you can get a reasonable status update out of him on tumblr, but it's rare.

Most people flame people for "flipping" when they buy something that everyone knows is going to go quickly just so they can turn around and eBay it or list it FS or use it as trade bait. Ry isn't getting as much slack because he clearly just bought a bunch of variants of a record he likes 3 years ago. Now they are worth a lot and he needs money so it's hard to resist the urge to sell off some of the copies. I don't blame him and I would certainly struggle with the same conflict if I were a variant collector and I could unload a few extra copies for a decent chunk of money.

$20 ppd for that 3xLP with media mail. Crazy good deal that I would jump on if I didn't already have a set. If you remotely like HWM and don't have this yet you should definitely get in on this.

I'd say that seeing how much copies of this go for on eBay combined with a ton of people pestering them for info will probably lead to them pressing a mountain of black copies.
