  1. This is one of my favorites from BTBAM..  I picked this up and have had a chance to listen through on speakers and a couple more times with headphones on.

To me, the headline to the remaster is that the mids have definitely been scooped and a lot more compression added. Where parts of the album get really busy and were generally difficult to discern some of the more complex compositions, they are now much easier to hear and therefore the album is generally “easier” to listen to, with some more of the subtle instrumentation a lot more apparent now. There are parts of the album I heard with headphones on that I just never noticed before. I still love the old mix, it’s definitely got a bit more bite to it, however if I were pulling an album off the shelf to listen to between the two, I would pick this one.

yeah ill grab them also i enjoy them a lot actually. I picked up the other release you did for them when it came out. Any chance of the new album being pressed?

Would love to, unfortunately no luck with the label they were signed to when the last two LPs were released, so for now I can only stick with the music they released independently

It's a sweat release! Besides, they're all over it in terms of fixing the issue. Worst case scenario I'll just dub the tape myself with FLAC files from Bandcamp lol.

Damn dude that sucks, haha, but glad they are fixing it. Missed Out seems like good people.

The test presses are approved and they sound sooo freaking solid. This is by far the best sounding release I’ve worked on, I seriously can’t wait for people to hear it.

ALSO getting low on the stock of purple variant (~20 left)  in the CBR web store, only other way to get it after it’s sold out is if the band has any leftover to sell at their shows.

Aww man! Missed the jacket. In for the purple. Love these guys.

    ^Thanks dude!

The band's BC is sold out of their allocation of the purple variant, but there are still some in the CBR webstore. Also, the full album was released last week so take a listen if you are so inclined to.

I've been teasing the handmade jackets on instagram but I am going to be posting a few of them next week so everyone knows what to expect. I hope people are going be stoked on it!

SAWCE have certainly earned a name for themselves in the DIY Instrumental / Math Rock community. Their commitment to musicality and musicianship over all else translates to an extremely enjoyable listening experience, whether you are into it for guitar wizardry and odd time signatures, or simply impressed by the incredibly accessible grooves.  This EP marks the first time SAWCE's music has been made available on the vinyl format. Mastered and pressed on two limited colorways, this release has a VERY special packaging design to top it off.

    1st Pressing:
Purple & Blue Swirl w/ White Splatter /100
Orange "SAWCE Stain" Inside Clear /150

Amplifiers normally have the least affect on the sound of all the components.

Glad you are happy but i expect the receiver is coloring the sound rather than being more transparent.

    ^this entire post.. just no.

A marantz 22 series receiver is “coloring” the sound from an analog source MORE than a p.o.s. cheap modern Sony?

    What?

Damn dude. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can use my case against him. Feel free to message me if you need anymore details. I ended up winning my case based on the weight of the box he sent bak not being enough to have a record in it. I also reported to USPIS (USPS police). Didn't take it to local law enforcement because I won the case, but that option is available as well.

The stupid thing is he already left me negative feedback a week ago, so I basically had nothing to lose but I felt like I should try to resolve it with him anyway. It was only after we started messaging that he got aggressive and just now he opened a PayPal claim against me.

I'm just going to give him what he wants and leave the negative feedback to warn others. I've been through this with PayPal and they have a tendency to lean in the buyers' favor unless given a good amount of pushback. For a $40 record, it's just not worth it to me.

    Shitty.

For anyone that missed the thread, I had a buyer contact me through Discogs about buying an expensive record. After shipping it to him he complained it was damaged and filed a dispute with paypal. Paypal decided he could return it for a refund. Paypal tracks the package and issues the refund when it is delivered. He sent me an empty box. Avoid! There's a thread about it here

Dammit, this dude bought a record from me and is pulling the same scam. He aggressively asked that I refund him 50% of the of the purchase price and when I gave him the option of 25% off (based on the picture he sent with a small corner ding) or to ship it back for a refund, he chose the latter. I fear for my paypal account now. :(
