I haven't liked NOFX since Pump up the Valuum, so personally, I totally agree. I think your post was an accurate representation of the band's last 20 years, I don't think what you said was negative/worthy of "you're fun at parties" jabs....but that's just me. Obviously other people still like them, and that's fine.
and I am in this thread because Fat releases mostly records by bands that are not NOFX.
I agree with the post entirely, I too couldn't care less for much after PUTV and tbh i've always thought some of the best bands on fat are the ones that are away from the "NOFX" sound. I mean The Loved Ones and Bannerpilot for instance are great examples of that.

Caved and grabbed one. This album has a nice place in my heart and that pressing colour was too good to pass on imo.

It's a little annoying that this record is taking so long. I pre-ordered the latest cancer bats record a couple days ago from dina alone and already got a shipping notice for it
Yeah, in fairness I think I must of been in a fairly good mood when I said this. I know there's been delays throughout the world but it annoys me a lot when they advertise a shipping date when they must have some knowledge it's not going to ship on that date then just claim they have no estimate at all.

Updated text on the Dine Alone product detail page: "Please note that this is a pre-order item with an estimated shipping date of October 2022. "
I guess nearly a year from PO is about the norm tbh.

Debut LP from Rest Easy is up for preorder. Members of Daggermouth, Shook Ones and Swear Jar playing really cool Hardcore-Punk.
I'm a big Shooks fan and wasn't even aware these guys existed. Thanks for the heads up!

Wow, record ships on release date instead of 9 months later like the last two
So far...

I actually can't remember what the original due date for some of the splatter pressings was, but i'm sure it was well before now. I'm regretting just not buying a copy closer to home now as i've hammered this album on spotify so i'm not even likely to spin it when it arrives now haha.

urgh. I knew there'd be delays but I didn't expect it to this extent. Seems a bit crazy they don't actually have an estimate.

Nice! grabbed the "savannah" copy of WTTHAB, the souls ST (finally) and a copy of do or die whilst I was there.

Damn, I wish Walmart would ship to the UK :(

urgh, I was at a gig last night and missed this drop 😭

Got the /200 Triple B by some miracle
I tried and for the first time in my life, missed out at a drop for a record. So snagged the pinwheel var. Tempted to grab the EU press just so I can get it earlier but I guarantee if I do that, it'll get pushed back.

Still waiting for Hey Mercedes, and an Alk3 - Remains repress.
Holding out for Good mourning again...

I'm still waiting on the green exclusive from Dine Alone with no apparent date of delivery which i'm pretty gutted about as this album is unreal and I'd really of given it some use lately.

Snagged the blue from coretex. so hyped for some new music from these guys. their previous stuff still finds its way on my weekly playlists.
Just had the inevitable "it's delayed" email so I gave this a solid blast through digitally this morning and i'm really liking it.

How much were these records when they were originally released?
How much are they at shows?
The copies that I see that get listed by record stores now are like 50 bucks, but I can't imagine that's how much they were last year.I think the "be patient" aspect is kinda about perspective in a sense. You don't have to be the sucker who pays 150-300 for a colored variant of this album, but I don't think you're finding one for 35 bucks shipped. And with all of that being said, discogs has a Revolver variant listed from March, 2022, so perhaps "be patient" does indeed still have some merit.
I was fortunate enough to grab a cloud copy on release/pre-order and it was $22.

I was wondering if anyone has received their copy of this ?
On a side note, album is a little weak. Song are kinda smooth / slow, would have like something more aggressive / fast
I got mine about 2 weeks ago now. Gotta say, it's a killer record.

Anyone by chance have a copy of the No Pressure 7” that they would sell for a reasonable price? I hate spinning 7”s these days, but this record has really grown on me and I snoozed on the Triple B press.
Honestly it was my favorite release of 2020. I've hammered since, really looking forward to finally seeing them. Good luck on your hunt, i've got an OG 7" and the BBB press on splatter but not really sure i'm wanting to get rid yet.

The way things are going these won't ship until the album's 25th anniversary.
I honestly thought the same thing when they announced it.

I'm with the other guy. I tried listening to some of this to see if it would be a nostalgia buy for me and...nope. Can't do it. I no longer enjoy even half a song off this anymore.
Fair enough, can't fault that our tastes change. Clearly mine haven't changed all that much haha.

triple b is an interesting route for this. Also this record aged terribly.
you think?
I gave it a spin again yesterday and I still think it holds up incredibly well compared to some modern pop-punk. (with the exception of "My Friends Over You" as that's pretty bad imo)
