Is something wrong with the pressing quality? Mine sounds great.

I think the times the problems with all the cheap plastic rubbish like the the AT60 have been described now must be in the hundreds, I know I'm into double figures on this subject and sadly the detail gets less each time because writing the same things over and over again does get a trifle taxing.

Maybe there should a be a thread stickied that simply states why NOT to buy a crosley or LP60 or the like. People do ask about this all the time and all they are really told is to see a thread that tells them to buy something better but a lot of them want to know why they should't just keep the crappy player they have since, to them, it works just fine.

OP - I used to have this TT, and while yes, it does function, that doesn't mean it is a good piece of equipment. No, your records won't be destroyed with one or two plays on it, but the longer you use it, the more wear and tear you are putting on your vinyl. Save up and get something a little better. The LP12 is a good step up if you want to stay with Audio Technica, but I would recommend the U-Turn Orbit or, of course, the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon.

Dropped my 6 in a shallow puddle the other day. It was fine aside from the fact the phone thought the headphones were plugged in when they weren't. Cotton bud in the hole (lololol) and now it's fine. I also spilled vinegar over it yesterday and it didn't affect it at all. I feel like I probably shouldnt be allowed a decent phone.

They didn't advertise it but the 6 and 6 plus are supposed to be water resistant. I saw a video where they completely submerged the phones in about a half inch of water while playing videos with sound and they weren't phased at all. It's smart that they did this without advertising it because I'm sure a ton of people would be stupid and try to use it as an underwater camera.

The four discs in four different colors with four different themes (both in music and design) housed in a bound book... anything less than an exact repress would be the compromise of a perfectly executed (besides the botched brown disc) artistic vision. And even then, an exact repress would devalue the OG 4x10, so I can see why Vagrant would be staunch in standing pat. If I were Thrice or Vagrant, I'd probably do the same.

Did I miss something with Carol? I know Beth gave her some medicine but it seemed like one minute there was little hope she would survive and the next she was wide awake in a wheelchair, ready to go back with her group.

Just got shipping notification on this. Nostalgia boner.

Saw Circa last night at Club Nokia in downtown LA. They were great but man do I miss the good ol' days of confetti cannons and 10 foot tall balloons.

Despite all of the SoCal and Central CA flippers coming out and buying every copy the stores had in one purchase, I was able to score one.

Is it possible that of the few that were available at each store, people who will actually listen to the record bought them? These guys are pretty popular amongst record collectors, and there are 10 million people in LA county...

Only thing wrong with this awesome pressing is the locked groove. So happy the lyrics are in the gatefold, it's about damn time they did that.

If the timing on the locked groove was right it would be awesome. One endless measure at the end of the album and it goes on forever...

I just got around to spinning Looper and the first thing I noticed was that when I drop the needle on the first track it seems to fall into a locked groove and just keeps looping the first few seconds until I lift the needle and nudge it in a touch. Has anybody else run into this?

Picked one of these up at my local HT today. The spatter looks fantastic, it's a perfect fit!
