Even if it is true, look at the quality of content HBO is producing today. Look at every character cast for every role. They know how to cast these characters and I would expect nothing less than a complete transformation from his typical role. They have more than earned my trust, that's for sure.

Great news about Utopia getting pressed. Definitely one of the best shows/soundtracks on TV at the moment.

We've been overwhelmed by the number of emails we've received asking for our Wes Anderson tribute on vinyl. This is going to be fun! We’re doing a double-LP with all 23 CD tracks + a BRAND NEW BONUS TRACK which is actually being recorded this month. We’re going to keep the song and artist a secret for the time-being but we’re totally psyched to put out this very limited-edition LP. We'll keep you posted once we begin pre-orders.

 

This should be great! I got the 7" they released and its pretty quality. Has anyone heard any of the other songs on the CD release?

 I love this score as well. It was discussed in here some months back. I've even corresponded with Spencer from Death Waltz about it and he agreed that it needed an LP release. I'd love it to come from a company like DWRC, but at this point I'll take it from anywhere. To tide you over, there is a digital release of it available for purchase.

Anyone else a fan of the soundtrack for the UK series Utopia? I would love to see a pressing of that.

I had a party at my place in college and one of my friends passed out the couch after drinking way too much. He woke up a half hour later, threw up all over the couch, the passed out again right on top of it. The next morning he woke up and asked everyone if they knew who threw up on him. Then we got a new couch.
