  1. This might sound a little stupid because 1. they are bookshelf speakers, and 2. I want to put them on a bookshelf, but... I have a pair of Epos Epic 1s and I am looking at rearranging my setup a bit. I was thinking I would like to get a set of expedit/kallax shelves from Ikea and set the speakers inside one of the cubes. The speaker fits in the cube but only with about a half inch to an inch to spare on the top and the a few inches on the sides. Would setting these speakers on a shelf like this mess with the sound the speakers are producing at all? Thanks in advance!
  2. My thoughts on the shipping process... All orders come in. All orders of sea foam variant get shipping labels printed at once. Labels separated and given out to 5 different people (minimum wage employee #1 gets shipping labels for orders 1-100, minimum wage employee #2 gets shipping labels for orders 101-200, etc.). While aforementioned minimum wage employee #1 is slowly packaging order #12 (because why work quickly when you are getting paid minimum wage?), aforementioned minimum wage employee #2 is slowly packaging order #112. Therefore if you are the 99th customer to place an order, customer number 101, 201, 301, and 401 are all going to get their packages before you. Obviously I don't know how it works for sure but if this was how they were doing it, it makes sense.
  3. A 10-15% refund is nothing really. If I bought a record I had been wanting for a LONG time for $20 bucks, because it was finally available again as a repress, and it showed up on my doorstep all bent up like that, I would absolutely want more than $3 back for it or I would want a full refund to try to buy elsewhere. Yes it's obviously about the music but record collecting is also about the holding the physical copy of the music in your hands, and that is more than just the piece of wax you are holding. If every time you pulled out your long coveted record to give it a spin, you had to see the damaged packaging it came in, you would constantly be reminded of your disappointment in how it originally arrived to you.
  4. I've been keeping up with it. It's not my favorite show but it's kept my interest and I've been looking forward to seeing it more than a bunch of other stuff that's on right now.
  5. Show was renewed for another season. http://deadline.com/2014/08/the-leftovers-renewed-for-second-season-hbo-818792/
  6. I swear every time I see this it goes up for $400 or more. Maybe I'm just crazy.
  7. http://www.discogs.com/buy/Vinyl/Hans-Zimmer-And-James-Newton-Howard-The-Dark-Knight-Original-Motion-Picture-Soundtrack/177672548 The Dark Knight up on Discogs for half of what it usually goes for if anyone is interested. I look at this and have to wonder if someone has an inside scoop on a repress though. One can hope.
  8. Ok well this news just made my day. I used to love this band and would love to get my hands on this. I hope they press Age of Reptiles at some point too!
  9. I laughed way too hard at that, then chuckled to myself for about a minute afterward.
  10. Good to know and glad this was asked, I was curious about that too.
  11. Couldn't have said it better. This show is my new favorite show/fascination, I can't get enough of it. Arby is my favorite. HBO is going to be producing an American version of the show directed by David Fincher. I am so conflicted in my feelings on it because part of me thinks the show is perfect as is and doesn't want it tainted in any way and the other part of me desperately wants to see what Fincher could do with it since he's one of my favorite directors.
  12. So was Andrew Lucas flipping when he went to the Halloween Even and bought all of those event exclusive Halloween releases to sell to the boards at cost? No. Or when whoever it was went and bought a bung of Breaking Bad pic discs from HT stores to sell to folks on here who couldn't get them in stores near them? No. It looks like its below cost if you account for shipping that you will have to pay for. $76 - $16 ($4 shipping x 4) = $60. If you paid $67 you are taking a loss. Good guy Shelby. tl;dr not a flipper.
  13. Does the whole limiting orders to 2 albums deal apply to 7" releases as well or is that just for their standard 12" releases?
