  1. For people from New England, Stop and Shop just got put on the list for posting an ad in the newspaper looking for scabs to start at a higher pay rate " in case of walkout/strike.". Totally forgot about Papa Johns, that guy can eat a large pile of dicks.
  2. Ghostdrones, same old, still buying records like a madman. Any other old heads still around?
  3. I am always curious as to why people would boycott a place of business. For me it's a human rights issue for others it's animals rights for some it's that they just don't like the colors of the place or the theme song. I really want to dive deep here. ( I have some downtime at work)
  4. Haha, yeah I am. The mobile site has always been flakey.
  5. Anyone remember me? Where is everyone? I want to start posting again.
  6. I just got a Rowdy Roddy Piper one of these, that will prob. be the only one I will buy, I don't need to start collecting other stuff hahaha.
  7. Also don't know why this posted 3 times, moderator feel free to delete the other 2.
  8. As a union guy I will not go to Wal-mart, Staples, McDonald's and a few other places. I have tried to cut down spending money at some other places too but you can't be perfect. Any places that you refuse to spend money? Why?
  9. Is this the new wave of the the "please be nice" posts? I remember seeing this a couple years ago and it was insufferable.
  10. I was at the Give Blood record release at MassArt. Suicide File opened and had demos for sale. I still have my rare copy of the Bane record but my SF demo was stolen a long time ago.
  11. I have always wondered what it would be like to see Bane anywhere besides New England. I checked out after Give Blood.
  12. I saw Judge a couple years ago in a club in Vegas. The Boston show is in a VFW hall, it's going to rule.
  13. I saw this at Newberry Comics yesterday for $99.99. Since I already own most of the records I didn't pick it up. Just a heads up for you New England people that want one right away.
  14. I know NapalmBrain doesn't believe me but it was a huge story covered by multiple sites and people at the time.
  15. I was lucky enough to find some stuff I have been looking for this last year. Here are some of my biggest grabs. WarZone-Lower East Side Crew ep EYES- TAQN ep The Showcase Showdown- s/t ep The Weirdos- We got the Neutron Bomb ep Code of Honor/ Sick Pleasure split LP Anybody else dole out some big bucks for some white whales.
  16. Here's a vice article that mentions it. http://m.noisey.vice.com/blog/how-independent-artists-and-labels-are-getting-squeezed-out-by-the-vinyl-revival There are a few facebook posts from bands complaining about it from that time as well as a couple more article's about it, you want to see those?
  17. Here is a post on this very board about it. http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/87723-major-label-vinyl-delays-help/
  18. I don't give a shit about what 90% of this board listens too. I know for a fact that some of those represses put stuff that was on a list to be pressed on the back burner so they could be done on time.
  19. If anyone was around this board when they were pressing that boxset will remember how it slowed down so many preorders. Every plant was churning out represses of already readily available Beatles records. I have a beef with the collector side of it. I can't tell you the number of times I have been at a record show or in a record store and have seen a thrashed copy of any Beatles record with a huge asking price. Just because it's old doesn't make it valuable.
  20. Have never been a fan. Don't understand the constant represses of the same records over and over again as well.
  21. I was offered tickets to TLC, turned them down.
