  1. one of the clear ones sold on eBay on the 9th for $88.
  2. with currency exchange and shipping to the US, it's still cheaper to buy an OG press on eBay.
  3. this is the most idiotic logic that I have ever heard. you realize that the only reason why you are able to flip the records to begin with is due to the fact that the demand for said records is greater than the supply, right? hmm.... wonder why? surely, it has nothing to do with trolls such as yourself who buy volume right out from underneath the actual fans...
  4. I'm most likely going to wait until I see the best offer from other retailers, buy it, then cancel my cinderblock order.
  5. ^^^ couldn't agree more. ACBTLD sounds incredible on vinyl... Sugar in the Sacrament sounds so dynamic. I did an A/B comparison of my OG press of WATT and the new pressing and I actually think the new one sounds better. Might just be due to the fact that I've spun the OG at least 50 times or so, and I don't have the greatest speakers... but it definitely doesn't sound "disappointing" like many have stated.
  6. in a little over 12 hours, thrice sold $180,000 in vinyl.
  7. honestly, I use this and it kicks fucking ass. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004MG9YYQ/ref=aw_cr_item_title
  8. ^^^ way jealous of how many coke bottle splatters yours has. mine doesn't have nearly that many, but DAMN do these look gorgeous.
  9. I'm sure you are probably right... but in my experience dealing with indie labels, it's not uncommon for new bands to get signed for 5-7 thousand dollars, including recording, marketing, tour support, etc. So $1000 can go a long way. but whether they do it for the cash or for the cool factor, the point is.... DO IT.
  10. exactly... hell, auction off the test pressings and if there is 10, those alone will pull $600-$1000.
  11. I have to agree. I know they have received many offers to do the As Cities Burn stuff, and they refuse. Guess they must really be raking in the cash on other bands.
  12. the manager at my local hot topic is a complete beezey and won't even check the box they received.... old manager used to sneak me shit before release dates all the time.
  13. yeah, that's the only reason I asked... I remember the first time I played trianwreck not knowing it was 45... that intro is real creep town slowed down in demon voices haha
  14. do you have an OG copy? if so, how is it in comparison? I think the OG sounds great but I too was hoping this one would be better, mainly due to it being 2X12". also, is this one 45RPM?
  15. honestly, I am a huge UO fan.. have been for as long as I can remember, but you really aren't missing much with that record. having said that, I ordered it on blue and gold and will probably get the clear too. this is mainly due to my affinity for the band. the record holds a special place in my heart and I love it for nostalgia. at the time that it came out, it was a truly badass album. they sounded so unique. in the current state of things, TCOT does not stand out as much. they have definitely grown to be a much better band than they once were.
  16. yeah, mine was like that. records and sleepy EP on one side with the pillowcase and on the other side the water jacket and t shirt. they also threw in a free flexi and handwritten note. Well worth the $45 and the wait. keep it up ITC Records!
  17. the tracklisting on shopradiocast.com. I'm not claiming to have any insider info or anything haha
