The guitar in You Fail Me (the song) has to be one of my favorite guitar tracks ever. Everything about it is just huge and heavy and perfect and NOW I'M STARTING TO REGRET MY DECISION GODDAMNIT!

Two years ago it would've been You Fail Me. Now it's probably Your Favorite Weapon. saewfrhraghagjahdh. I hate this. But Converge won with Jane Doe (which slides in right above You Fail Me anyway if I was listing my favorite Converge albums) so I'm going with Brand New.

Goin' with Elliott. Though I'd say Either/Or is better than XO.

That was a well spent half hour I'd say.

I think I remember reading a story at some point about Jimmy Eat World finding extra copies of Futures in a warehouse somewhere after it had gone OOP and opting to sell the found copies on tour. I always thought that was cool.

Immediately jumped at this when I saw it, I'm taking my brother as his birthday gift.

I went with a friend who is SUPER into these guys to see them on Friday at Asbury Lanes. Seeing them live TOTALLY sold me on them too, they were incredible. And this new song is absolutely perfect.

PM'ed. Love me that Chris Shift-y. Seriously, the first couple songs on that album (Helsinki and Get Along in particular) are so good, I'll absolutely take it for 6 bucks.

Great record, Fuel should get more credit (or literally, at least ANY credit). They're one of the better of the late-90's-post-grunge bands. Also, Something Like Human should've had a pressing too. Anywho, all this to say good luck on your search! And free bump or something.

Indeed, I saw that pressing - it's a pretty easy to come by/relatively cheap record. Most of the ones on the list I want are still readily available, but I'm trying to just stick to trades mostly.

Bumpies. Just saw The Menzingers a couple days ago in Asbury Park and they were great, so extra-especially would love to have On the Impossible Past!

I remember the first time I watched that scene as soon as it ended my friend Chris (who wasn't watching the show, he just happened to be there while I was watching this particular episode) almost fainted of hysterical laughter. Then a couple weeks later he wanted me to burn him a copy of 'A Night at the Opera' by Queen and I went in and edited that song into the beginning of Love of My Life. It was beautiful.

The 5 year old in me thinks that just physically LOOKS cool. But then again, 5 year old me would rather be throwing coins in a water fountain than listening to records anyways.

I'd rather hold onto Fantastic Planet unless it's for something I realllllly want (like Alexisonfire stuff). Because I do break that one out every now and again.
