  1. Super jealous of all you people who own the deluxe version of A Thousand Suns. I have the regular black pressing and it is a massively under-appreciated album.
  2. I saw them live last December and I was standing right in front of Tom. They played Blister and I sang along and afterwards he reached down and gave me his guitar pick.
  3. Just the fact that the Heatmiser cover EXISTS makes me so happy that I automatically love it. Also, I do just think it's really good. Futures > Clarity > Chase This Light > Damage > Bleed American > Invented > Static Prevails
  4. Someone said it months ago, but it's worth saying again - 36 Crazyfists's stuff that hasn't been pressed yet; mostly Bitterness the Star and A Snow Capped Romance though. Been listening to Bitterness the Star a lot lately, fantastic album.
  5. My girlfriend loves the hell out of Dads and would probably be quite pleased with me if I gave her this. So I'll enter.
  6. I'll actually for realz buy this if nobody has yet. PM me.
  7. For what it's worth, my girlfriend got her copy of the second pressing within a week or two of ordering. So, I doubt there is some kind of delay in the actual pressing of the record.
  8. I quite liked that cover of Dammnit: Dads doing Adam's Song is pretty sweet too.
  9. American Idiot mayhaps? If not maybe the cheaper copy of All We Love We Leave Behind?
  10. Bump, reusing this thread as a sale thread. I have some stuff I don't listen to and could use some money for some of it.
  11. Victory! Definitely my favorite song ever written for an animated movie. And I'm gonna vote Nirvana for the live album.
  12. Also for what it's worth, it looks like there is a pressing coming out in a week or two for $50 new: http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Blink-182-%252d-Take-Off-Your-Pants-and-Jacket-LP-%26-3x7%22.html
  13. I'm getting my numbers for TOYPAJ off of discogs, as far as specified you have this pressing (or a comparable one) http://www.discogs.com/Blink-182-Take-Off-Your-Pants-And-Jacket/release/4878599 The last one was sold 2 months ago (so it's pretty recent) and the median number is 40 dollars. Of course if you have a different pressing (like the one with the 7"s, that number goes out the window. But, you know, just guessing which one you have.
  14. A month or two ago I traded away a copy of Californication by The Red Hot Chili Peppers for a copy of Either/Or by Elliott Smith. If it was all about the value, I'd say that the other guy got the better end of that trade - Californication is a more expensive record than Either/Or. However, I got a record that I listen to WAY more out of the deal, so I totally feel like it was a good trade. The difference in value was there, but it was negligible (about 5 or 10 dollars). Take Off Your Pants and Jacket is about a 40 dollar record, give or take and The Downward Spiral is about a 30 dollar record. I'm not trying to pull your strings at all by making that offer, I think it's fair and we'd both get something we'd listen to more out of it. That's how it usually goes down around here. 'Value-wise' you might sacrifice a couple dollars there, and make a couple there, but in the end it all evens out. All that said though, I totally understand if you're not interested. No worries at all!
  15. I have one of the more recent 180 gram black pressings of The Downward Spiral I'd trade for TOYPAJ. Honestly, never spun the damn thing. PM me if you're interested.
  16. I was in high school and was starting to get into metal. My then-guitar teacher recommended I check out Converge, so I listened to Jane Doe and absolutely fell in love with it. A couple weeks later I was at the CD/record store in my town and I was bored so I started looking through the used records. I found a copy of Jane Doe on vinyl for 20 bucks in the and bought it. I played it on my parents turntable a couple times back then, but mostly it just sat in a frame on my wall. A couple years later I actually got INTO collecting records and so I looked up the pressing info on my copy of Jane Doe. It was the original red/orange split tour pressing out of 150. Still my best find ever.
  17. Alice in Chains unplugged is really good too, but I'm gonna go with Nirvana.
  18. Oh my God, how have I never heard of this until today? Totally interested in this.
  19. If it counts, I love these songs more than I love almost anything else in the world.
