  1. AP posted this today and it showed up in my Facebook feed. 20 minutes of unreleased footage of MCR recording I Brought My Your Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. http://www.altpress.com/news/entry/2002_video_my_chemical_romance_record_i_brought_you_my_bullets Also getting more and more excited for these repressed, I've been listening to Three Cheers a lot lately.
  2. Does someone who has the original Triple Crown pressing wanna confirm if the lyric sheet in that pressing has the same lyrics? Just curious if the insert in the new pressing is a re-design or not.
  3. Justin, I'm guessing the only way to track down the Death Letter EP and the 7 inches that were in the original box set is to buy a copy of it secondhand, right? I love all that bonus stuff and I'm just wondering if there are any plans to press any of it again.
  4. Absolutely, super cool dudes. When I saw them a couple months ago I was talking to the merch guy and he actually owns the studio that the band has recorded all their albums in. I thought that was neat.
  5. From a completely "scientific" standpoint or whatever, vinyl is only truly superior to digital when the masters being pressed to vinyl exceed the 44.1khz/16bit standard that CDs are manufactured at. That said, fuck it, I buy tons of records and CDs. I just like music and I like collecting shit, who cares about the rest?
  6. AleixonfireAlexisonfireAlexisonfire, though I at least got to go to Toronto on their farewel tour to see them once before they called it quits. Also,
  7. Makes total sense to anybody who has ever worked in retail.
  8. That Australian variant is so cool, but there's no way I could justify spending at least double the price of the US pressing.
  9. Just curious since you'd be the expert on it, which pressing do you think SOUNDS the best? Also, how is the artwork on the AFS pressing different than the others? Are the center labels on the discs the only difference in the artwork from the other pressings?
  10. I regret sleeping on Dear Agony back when it was in print. Ah well, you win some you lose some. I'd buy Phobia or Saturate in a heartbeat though - the later mostly for Next To Nothing, which is still one of my favorite songs ever.
  11. So much agree. Kesson Daself is one of my favorite songs ever.
  12. This is excellent. Also excited for this one, everything he's ever done is awesome.
  13. If the Glassjaw isn't gone by next weekend shoot me a message and I'll take it. I'll try to remember this thread is here too,
  14. I got a pair of Clarks at Marshalls for about 15 or 20 bucks that I've work pretty much every day for the past year and a half. Pretty sure this is just a newer version of the same model: I desperately need new ones, but I always procrastinate buying new shoes until my old ones actually fall apart. Oh, and I have a couple pairs of Chuck Taylor's I'll wear every now and again too.
  15. Listened to my seafoam copy today. Honestly, my black MOV might sound a little bit better, but it seems like a pretty negligible difference at the VERY most. I'd be curious to hear the black MOV against the black Triple Crown. Packaging is sweet though, I wish every pressing of the record came with the lyric sheet.
  16. They're all great, I still actively listen to all of them.
  17. Not all just metalcore bands. I think Periphery and Crosses is/was on Sumerian and they definitely have more artistic integrity than Asking Alexandria
  18. If the Brand New 7 inch is still around in a week I might be into it. If nobody bites by next weekend, send me a message and harass me about it.
  19. Ran into him near the tour buses after his set in Philly today at the Mann Center, he said an official East Coast tour announcement for the fall is coming early next week and that the Philly date will be at The Electric Factory.
