Got my copy in the mail today. I'm still on the fence about it. I'm hoping it's a grower. I'll say this about this album, it sounds like they just discovered chorus effect pedals.

I picked up a white vinyl press from Amoeba in L.A. on last Tuesday. It was one of two copies they had in the bin. All the other copies were the black vinyl. All their copies were sold out by Sunday.

I don't think he has any "aims" to out himself more when he's already as out as he possibly can be. Besides, they've had pun-like song titles for a while now. Kiss Me Dudely, Rock N Roll Mantasy, etc. I think the band just have a sense of humor about how they're presented.

Picked up the white vinyl pressing today. Great to finally have this on vinyl. The first side has a cool locked groove at looping the "explosion" bit at the end of Bunker Buster.

If you're going to go for original pressings, the UK Rough Trades are the way to go. I have 7 of the original 17 Rough Trade 12" singles. They all sound great. I'm gonna make it a goal to find the other 10 12"s in the next couple years. All that said, the reissues sound and look really good. I got 2 copies of the Complete Deluxe box for $175 each a few years back (due to aan Amazon pricing snafu). Johnny Marr did a great job on the remastering. Also, one of the reasons Morrissey urged people not to buy the box sets is because Mike Joyce (Smiths drummer) would get a good chunk of royalties from the box and the whiny bitch that Morrissey is, he didn't want that to happen. That's probably why we'll never see any previously unreleased Smiths recordings officially released. Morrissey will probably prevent that from happening because he wouldn't want Mike Joyce (or Andy Rourke for that matter) to get any money from it.

Picked this up today. I guess they decided to change it to a triple LP and include the original LP in addition to the double album of b-sides and demos. The original album is packed in the middle of the gatefold sleeve.

Picked this up today for $60. A local shop was having a sale so it was 20% off $74. Pretty happy about that.

Ordered. Good to see that this wasn't a one-off project. The first album was one of my top 10 albums of 2014.

All the cassettes are in EX condition. The J-card inserts have very little to no wear. Except for the Oasis cassette which is in an O-card sleeve but the sleeve on that is also in EX condition.
