I've read the story is kind of ass but the gameplay itself is super fun. I'd go for it. Target has it on sale right now for 40$. Almost picked it up for myself but they were out of ps3 copies locally.

Aside from the multiplayer tacked onto bioshock 2, those games are near flawless. Had a blast.
