This has been a pretty busy month for me, especially considering I'm just now getting back into the habit of buying a few records every month...

Got my shipping confirmation for my Iteration preorder yesterday! My copy should be here next Monday. Fingers crossed it gets delivered a bit sooner, but if it doesn't, I'll hold off on listening to the full album until it arrives.

Most of Carpark's limited variants sell out pretty quickly unless the band isn't on many folks' radars, so I'd order sooner rather than later. The limited variant might show up in indie stores too tho, which is how I got my limited variant of Cloud Nothings' last LP.

Definitely pre-ordered. This is the Toro I know and love; as much as I wanted to like What For?, I could never really get into it.

Haha. I've owned a CD copy for a few years, and it lives in my car right now. Unfortunately I missed out on the vinyl so hopefully it'll get repressed soon.

Okay, this is by no means a "new" tattoo, but I never got around to showing it off here when I got it (last year), so this was/is my first tattoo, and I have tat #2 in the works.

Can confirm. I sold a dime-out dress once when I first started working on the cash register, my manager wasn't particularly thrilled but was understanding because I was still new at the time. So yeah, you got lucky. lol

Fair. I will say tho, the best day to go looking for markdowns is Tuesday (and Wednesday) since we get our updated lists of markdowns on Monday nights and Tuesday mornings.

I guess I'm also psyched about the clothes too, but any record pickup will be a plus, haha

Grabbed a copy of The Killers - Hot Fuss from work with my employee discount, ended up paying $15 for it. It's so nice to finally have one of my fav albums on wax without having paid triple digits for an official pressing or settling for a bootleg.

After two and a half months of unemployment, I've finally been recognized for what few talents I have and got a damn job. It certainly feels good to not have to worry whether I'll be able to afford paying my bills and keep buying food.

Also that means I'll start hanging out here more, since I'll have a bit of spare spending money for records again, which is lovely. (And I'll probably be hanging out in the UO exclusives thread too, since that's where I got a job.)

Ordered a deluxe copy from Carpark before I even listened to the single, which I then enjoyed immensely.

I can already tell this is gonna be my go-to summer album next year.

My MerchNow pre-order finally arrived today just before I left for the parental units' house, and it came with a CD copy(!) so I listened to it twice from start to finish while driving. Shit slays like nobody's business.

Also, the coke bottle/mint splatter variant looks gorgeous, and I love love love the shirt that I got with it all.

I'm a happy DGD fan.

Definitely one of my all time favorite producers, super psyched for this album. I'm gonna have to hold off on a physical copy, but I'm excited regardless.

Mostly bumping this thread so more people can see this and maybe discover their new fav producer.
