  1. I've been looking to buy this album for months now, and have just never had the proper funds. More than excited for this release.
  2. I should have known... that's what I get for ignoring my gut feelings.
  3. That's me, featuring the only style of facial hair I can actually pull off. Ah well.
  4. True enough. Come to think of it, I do have to pass back through tomorrow on my way back to school, so I could try to leave early enough to stop by before they close. Why malls still close at 6:00 on Sundays escapes me...
  5. I'll try and go again as soon as I possibly can and see if they have any left. No promises, though; I don't actually get to go to Atlanta that often.
  6. Went to the UO store in Lenox (Atlanta) today. Picked up red Bon Iver, Frankie Rose's Interstellar, and red/blue Hot Chip, all for $35. (If anyone else in the Atlanta area is interested, they have like four more copies of the red Bon Iver for $10 each. I also saw another Hot Chip for $15.)
  7. Went to the Mall of Georgia two days ago. The haul: Thursday - A City by the Light Divided (red/black/white splatter, /1000) Touché Amore/La Dispute - Searching for a Pulse/The Worth of the World 7" (third press, /2000) Breathe Carolina - Hello Fascination (clear, /1000) That last one is without a doubt the guiltiest of my guilty pleasure albums. I regret nothing.
  8. YES. Forrealsies, though, I'm super psyched for Saosin. One of my absolute favorite albums from high school, and I've been waiting for someone to press it ever since I started collecting vinyl.
  9. Some good finds at the record store today. King Tuff - Screaming Skull 7" Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest (repress, 2xLP, 180g black vinyl)
  10. Just got mine in today! Sturdy sleeve, the color of the vinyl is awesome, and the sunglasses are rad-ass.
  11. I usually buy two or three records a month, which probably comes out to around $40-$60, but I've spend much more than that in past weeks. Too many good albums came out at once.
  12. Metz - METZ (Loser Edition, greyish marbled vinyl, /???) Really good album, and the ones at my record store had the bonus 7" as well!
  13. Yeasayer - Fragrant World (2xLP 180g white/blue splattered vinyl) Picked this up a little earlier today at my local shop. They also had a few copies of Metz's new album, one of which I'll be picking up tomorrow once I get paid. I would have gotten one today, but I only had enough spare cash for one album.
  14. If anyone is in my neck of the woods, Wuxtry Athens has three Loser Edition copies plus the 7". I'm going to pick one up once I get paid tomorrow.
  15. Ordered. I found this guy on Bandcamp a while back and have been waiting for something of his to get pressed since then. Seriously, you guys, if you've never listened to Cruiser before, you're missing out.
  16. Got this in the mail on Sunday. The Depreciation Guild - In Her Gentle Jaws

The Academy Is... - Almost Here; Santi Annuals - Be He Me August Burns Red - Thrill Seeker Blockhead - Uncle Tony's Coloring Book Cobra Starship - While The City Sleeps, We Rule The Streets; Viva La Cobra! Dance Gavin Dance - Their entire discography (DTBM, S/T, Happiness, DTBM II) Dead Poetic - Four Wall Blackmail; New Medicines; Vices Edison Glass - A Burn or A Shiver; Time is Fiction Emarosa - Relativity The Foxglove Hunt - Stop Heartbeat The Good, The Bad & The Queen - The Good, The Bad & The Queen Jonny Craig - A Dream is a Question You Don't Know How to Answer Kanye West - Graduation Lone - Ecstasy and Friends; Lemurian A Lot Like Birds - Plan B; Conversation Piece Mux Mool - Skulltaste Noisettes - What's The Time, Mr. Wolf? 18. I'm interested to see what happens. There are still 7 days left, if anyone wants in. http://www.ebay.com/itm/RELIENT-K-MMHMM-RARE-CLEAR-VINYL-ORIGINAL-2004-PRESSING-DOUBLE-ALBUM-LP-Reliant-/300786831805?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item46084ad1bd
  19. The Depreciation Guild - In Her Gentle Jaws (used) Just bought it about twenty minutes ago on eBay for $16, including shipping. Not really sure of how good that price is, but I've been looking for it for a while now, and I'm pretty excited.
  20. August Burns Red is pressing a holiday album, titled Sleddin' Hill, set to be released on October 9. Should be good. General info: http://modern-vinyl.com/august-burns-red-presses-holiday-album/ Pre-order page: http://cirecords.storenvy.com/
  21. From the Mumford and Sons Babel pre-order thread: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mumford-and-Sons-Babel-TEST-PRESSING-1-OF-12-w-Print-/150910748178?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item2322fb4612
  22. I tend to go more for colored vinyl, so I'll definitely try to get one of the purple copies. If not, there'll be plenty of opportunity for gold.
  23. Found this today at my local shop. It's a demo version of a bunch of unreleased/live Arctic Monkeys tracks. From what I gather, the album was a bootleg, but most of the other copies I've seen of this album were white and just came in a PVC sleeve. Mine was in a cardboard sleeve and the vinyl is black. I know literally nothing else about it.
