Oh, that's not my picture. I have a Pro-Ject Debut III. Not sure if that affects your statement, but I thought I'd just get that out there. I probably could have specified that in my original post.

Now that I've upgraded my system, I've found myself thinking about replacing my 2x2/Lack side table with a 4x2 on its side. It would probably give me enough room to put everything (turntable, receiver, speakers) on top and still have enough room to expand as far as my collection goes. It would basically look like this: Only there would be some of those little IKEA doors in two or three of the shelves. Good idea? Bad idea? "Meh" idea? (p.s. I believe this is impact's picture; I found it way back at the beginning of the thread.)

If I remember correctly, they're $29.99. Makes sense, because the 1x1 is $19.99 and the 2x2 is $39.99. Also, about the end table: It's a Lack end table, also from IKEA, and it's only $9.99.

I finally finished getting everything for my new set-up, and I've bought a lot more records since I last posted my storage shelf, so: I like it. I'm gonna need a bit more storage space soon, but I like it. I'm pretty sure IKEA has a 2x1 Expedit now, so I might just get that to fill in that extra space to the right. That'd give the turntable and speakers some breathing room, and I'd have more space for my records and books.

I was literally just there a few hours ago and they had none on the shelves. Asked one of the employees there and, after going to the back room to check, she said there was a shipment coming on Monday and that she'd hold me a copy. I'm really hoping that the Monday shipment wasn't actually already there, because if your copy was on that shipment, I'll just try my luck on ordering online.

I've only been refused media mail one time, but I told the clerk I had sent records with media mail before and the clerk next to her (whom I had seen before) confirmed this. The record was sent. I guess it really just depends on the people at the post office location.

I wouldn't necessarily go that far, because Aim and Ignite was a fantastic album, but Some Nights just ruined everything. Anyways, back on subject:

Good point, and they did only press 500 of them instead of their standard 1000. I'm totally with you on the DGD discog press, though. It just... it needs to happen. Edit: I would like to add that I do own a copy of the LMTF album. It's not half-bad, actually.

True. I guess that's just the part of me that refuses to give up hope. DGD and OM are without question my favorite Rise bands. They did press Like Moths To Flames very recently, and they were honestly the last band I would have thought Rise would press, so it's hard to tell. Also, yeah! The drummer of OM started Woe, Is Me when OM broke up.

Their reunion is official as of either yesterday or the day before! It's the original lineup, and they're recording one final EP (via their facebook page). It was their first and only full-length album, released through Rise. Being that it's a Rise album, a vinyl pressing isn't completely out of the question, especially now that their popularity has spiked considerably.

Recently, I bought a Pro-Ject Debut III and a Sherwood RX-4109, and I've been looking for bookshelf speakers to finish off my upgraded set-up. Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about speakers, and have no idea where to start. All I know is that my budget is strictly set at $150 max, and I want to buy new. OH MAN. New DGD, this new band, and Of Machines getting back together are things my dreams are made of. I've been waiting for that OM reunion since they broke up. Speaking of which (and to maintain relevance to the topic): If ever this were to make it onto vinyl, I wouldn't know what to do with myself.

I'll pass judgment on the album when I have in in my hands and on my turntable. I will say that the two or three songs I've heard so far from their Bandcamp page are very well done, and I am a huge Animals fan, so I have high hopes and expectations.

This is an amazing album. All of its singles and the EP they recorded before releasing this were pressed, so I'm not really sure why it never got the vinyl treatment. It sure deserves it.
