Anyways... I got this in the mail a while back, but only just got it today because I accidentally sent it to my parents' house: Shout out to Forward Records for the coolest 7" packaging I've seen so far, and for pressing a really rad band. The blue vinyl is /100, but I'm not sure if there are any more (the store just says first come, first serve). I highly recommend this release. *takes bow* Thank you, thank you. All jokes aside, The Wonder Years did a really neat pink variant of their Won't Be Pathetic Forever 7" for Hot Topic, if you're into that sort of music. And if you can find it, I guess (they only pressed 500 copies).

Apparently, there's an Iceland-only pressing that's one orange LP and one green LP, but there are only 500 of those, so all of the other copies should be on pink. Or, at least as far as I can tell.

I'm really hoping the title is just a sticker on the outside packaging, and that the cover is just the picture with the VW logo on it. Regardless, the white vinyl should match the cover perfectly. I'll probably pick it up at my local shop in May.

There's always How To Dress Well's Total Loss. The music itself isn't for everyone, but the vinyl looks fantastic. EDIT: I lied. The music is for everyone. Go look up "& It Was U" and be blown away by a soulful white guy.

That's actually pretty funny. I'm just gonna wait it out until April, though. I feel like the HT variant better matches the album cover, and I really don't feel like spending any more money right now. So many good things happening at once recently.

It took me a while to find this, because I got into them after they had already broken up. Ended up finding it for $13 from some dude on eBay, and I couldn't be happier. I haven't seen a copy for sale since (it's been about four or five months), and it's in flawless condition. Basically, I lucked out.

I think I'm gonna cave and buy this today. After all the good things people are saying about it, I'm sold.

I would if I had more space. Or more furniture. But, until one of those two things happen, they stay where they are. Once I move out of the house I'm currently renting, I'll probably buy either two small bookshelves or speaker stands.

It's really good. Also, inaugural spin on my new turntable! Finally went out and bought speaker wire, after having everything set up for over a week.

Considering getting this and that awesome deluxe version of The Gay Blades. Once I have a little more cash scraped up, that is.

It's super tempting, despite the fact that it's a Monday night (which probably means I won't). I saw them once back in 2011 when they went on tour with Best Coast and No Joy, and it's still one of the best shows I've been to. They're so much fun live.

If I worked at Hot Topic, and I had that woman in my check-out line, I'd probably get fired for what I'd say to her.

I had gone to the Hot Topic in Buford, GA after seeing it on the list of East Coast stores that had gotten it shipped in, and when I got there, the girl working there said they hadn't gotten any in, but that they were supposed to get some today and that she'd hold a copy for me. Low and behold, two hours later someone here commented that they had picked up the last copy from the same store that day. That was on Saturday. Today, I called them to make sure they had a copy for me, and they didn't. The dude on the phone said that as soon as they put them (all of them, apparently, ignoring my hold request) on the shelves, they immediately had a bunch of people buying three or four copies at a time, and sold out within minutes. Fucking flippers. Sob story aside, I ended up ordering online just after I got off of work today. Order went through, so all I'm waiting on is a shipping confirmation. tl;dr - I got boned out of my in-store copy, but the online store is pretty cool.
