Recess put out the LP from Sean and Lee's band(Thee Makeout Party), they had a 7" that they couldn't get anyone to release so they started Burger and that 7" is the first release(split release to be exact with a label I'm blanking on). I'm positive Todd would have no clue if you asked him any Burger business. They co-released the first 2 Audacity records and nothing else that comes to mind. Other than Burger releasing tapes by Todd's bands, there really isn't any connection besides those I've mentioned and being fans of each others labels.

I have the mp3s from the CD I bought last year if anyone wants to try em, songs are very hit and miss and CD is very long (70 minutes due to 2 albums and bonus tracks). Kinda wish they flushed out the filler and just made this a best of single LP, but no big deal. The CD cover art is amazing, wish they kept it. It's kinda like those over the top, pro america posters with eagles and these colors don't run, but psychadeeelic man...

no caroline distro logo? The 3 logos should be on the sticker on lp too(so blanking on what the sticker is called). Maybe the tour lps didn't sell out and they threw some in new packaging. They could all be different for all i know, was just explaining the differences in mine.

These are a different press than the one they sold at shows if anyone cares. Different etchings, gz vinyl pressed these vs. Pirates Press doing tour copies, barcode on these vs. none on tour press, 3 logos on back of these vs. none on tour press. Think thats all thats different.

they seem to have put up single flexis now if you don't wanna drop on the whole box. $7+shipping for a single song is a bit rich for my blood, tho that Melvins song is really fucking good. Nice of them to keep the prices normal, these $18-$22 albums were starting to get tiresome. 2 month pre-order for this and Larry Arms record really is something else. Longest pre-order I think I've done. Then media mail takes another month to get here from the east coast, most likely will forget about this until it arrives.

In case anyone cares, they fixed this so the LPs come out to about $11.50 before shipping.

cool cool, thanks guys. only ever ordered new from them i believe. It just seemed like they were copy pasting to get the listings up and wasn't sure what surface marks were. They must not be in the grooves or else it wouldn't get a VG+ I assume. Got a tri-colored BB-Crimes for $17, trying to decide if I should waste my money since its the only full length of theirs I don't have.

Pretty much every used record says,"Vinyl looks nice, has a few surface marks." They then grade it "Very Good Plus". I'm assuming these surface marks dont affect playing quality? Has anybody tried to return a used record or is it buyer beware? Thanks for the help.

Indeed, whoever(be it Andy or a group of people if Andy is indeed dead) comes up with these schemes leave no stone unturned and they are just perfectly executed. I'm sure people are gonna search out that 1999 restaurant and see what went down there, but I like the mystery of it all and if one day he were to appear on Letterman or something, what a glorious day that would be. My dead comedians tour is pretty generic, Bill Hicks, Richard Pryor, and Mitch Hedburg. My mind is blanking on other comedians that have passed on.

Sold the first Bent Outta Shape S/T LP, pissed I did that. Have had crazy offers for the Stray Dog Town LP but not gonna let that go. My favorite band and selling one of their records was such a bonehead move when I would have been happy letting anything else go.

this guy on amazon was bitching about this /1000 thing and I asked him what his cutoff for "limited" is, does he buy mass produced albums if he likes the record but it's not limited. He basically said "I'm a flipper so I need to know". Here's his exact quote.. "I will buy things that are not in limited pressings, in fact most of mine are, but when they are limited pressings, I like to own multiple copies. If it was not limited, I would just get one." So odd. And so selfish.
