  1. That's a neat portfolio, it's organised well and there are some great shots. I really like the sixth portrait under 'Characters' of the man with the Kodak Signet(?), it has a real 70s aesthetic to it. Was that shot on Agfa? $3? Bargain! I find point and shoots to be a lot of fun and something different since you have to trust the camera a little more than usual. It's nice being able to fit a camera in your pocket too, but I wouldn't want to drop the Ricoh, I'm not sure it would survive.
  2. That is nuts Madie, what the hell. I had only seen a Ben & Jerry's one when they first announced having ads, but now McDonald's is on it.
  3. It has a nice green mould speckle to it too haha. I've seen plenty of good photos from Canon Sure Shots. My mum had a Sure Shot Supreme in the 90s but the film door was broken when I went to use it. Do you upload elsewhere?
  4. I haven't really used my XG-1 since the last couple of rolls came back blank. The shutter seems to be firing fine though so who knows. I'm keen to give my Minolta 7s a whirl though for something different. @el__burrito I mainly just use Flickr for now though. Sometimes I post film shots on Insta.
  5. I really like these ones Tess, I think you've done well. I'm not really confident with split-circle screens which is probably why I stick with my Ricoh even though the viewfinder frame has died in it, ha ha.
  6. I'm really sorry to hear about Piko, what a beautiful and chill cat.
  7. My brother just got married and I didn't cock anything up. I managed a Wedding Singer reference and made him cry.
  8. Those are some great shots, I really like the fog in the last one and the birds in the first is fantastic. I'm looking at buying a Rolleiflex T. Anybody here use a Rollei?
  9. Well, you never know until you try. Bananas could very well work out.
  10. You should be able to buy an egg replacer in your supermarket, over here we have http://www.orgran.com/products/174/ If not, I see a lot of recipes use a flax seed replacer http://www.theppk.com/vegan-baking-the-post-punk-kitchen-shows-you-how/ Like Daderson said, I use mashed up banana for baking but I don't think I'd use it outside of that.
  11. Most definitely, nobody likes someone who goes on for 15 minutes. I've read that 2-4 minutes is the sweet spot.
  12. I'm trying to write a speech for my brother's wedding which is next weekend.
  13. Well 80% of it was delicious, then my taste buds were offended and there was mould.
  14. http://minimalistbaker.com/the-worlds-easiest-cinnamon-rolls/ I just made some of those. I had never had a cinnamon roll before so I can't really compare them to others, but I thought they turned out alright. I didn't go with their recipe for a glaze though, I followed a basic one on the packet of icing sugar I had.
  15. Caspian - Waking Season (Seafoam Blue) This Will Destroy You - Tunnel Blanket (Clear w/ Black Haze) This Will Destroy You - Another Language (Navy)
  16. I made a bunch of Chinese steamed buns for dinner and they were delicious. The only thing was was I made them a bit big, so when they finished steaming they were gigantic. I used the recipe from the video below, just remember to add olive oil when making the dough (it was either the Chinese hamburger or pork bun video she shows you how).
  17. And I have a black/white pair that I got cheap. I'd like to try a pair of Old Skools or New Balance though.
  18. How did you end up liking Black & White?
  19. Tiger on Beat, holy shit. The last half hour takes it next level.
