I gotta admit that Freelance Whales LP totally blew me away. Very nice progression since their first release.

I know, it's horrible. They supposedly just went through this huge renovation too and got new employees and totally revamped their customer service or whatever but if anything it got worse. hashtag ridiculous.

I'm gonna flip this whole thing around and say I took my parents to THEIR first all-standing-room show at a theater just recently. I kind of had to drag them but they eventually they were cool with it. We saw Maps & Atlases at The Jefferson in Charlottesville. Damn good show too.

Hi Laura <3 And I wish it was the legitimate reason but I sent my emails to them about a week ago. Not to mention they are NOTORIOUS for ignoring everyone. It's just weird because they gotta notice absolutely zero orders coming in whatsoever. Idk but I ended up ordering what I wanted from them from Amoeba after seeing the good reviews on their online transactions and also finding out most everything is shipped for free. Total bonus.

Hey y'all. Okay so I'm pretty fed up with trying to deal with Captured Tracks' online ordering system so I'm taking it to the boards. I want to buy OR MAYBE TRADE FOR the limited edition variant of Zeros by The Soft Moon (everything included i.e. posters, button, plastic sleeve). This is still in the CT store for $25 plus shipping but I keep getting an error message at the time of payment and no one that works there will email me back. I know it isn't just me because a couple friends have tried it and got the same message. Someone help? If you want to do a trade, let me know and we can figure something out.

Having more problems with Captured Tracks. Emailed them twice about it, WOULD write on their facebook wall but they disabled that feature (HMM WONDER WHY?).... Basically I can't order anything from their website. It gets to the point where I'm supposed to enter payment info and I get an error message. I really wish I could buy these things from a different place for the same price but I just can't. Sucks they have such great bands and such shitty customer service.

I'm kinda excited about the new Biffy Clyro double album. I just hope it doesn't disappoint.

My first concert was kinda cool actually. Coheed And Cambria, Clutch, and The Fall of Troy in 2007, I was 15.

Pay close attention to these. Two of my favorite releases this year and they totally flew under the radar.

I feel like the only cassettes I'd collect are C40 type stuff. With that being said, if anyone has any leads on some Cleaners From Venus originals for sale/trade please hit a brother up.

I'd love to see this repressed on pink vinyl. If you own the CD you know what I mean. Idk if the labels on the LP look like the CD does.

Pleasantly surprised to see Thee Oh Sees on the list. I will admit that this list did touch on more genres thus creating a more fair and balanced array of releases, however some of the albums are (IN MY OPINION) extremely overrated/hyped for what they are.

Japandroids - 'Celebration Rock' 180g clear red vinyl /1000 Polyvinyl had a few of these up for black friday and I snagged one just in time. Sold out in a few hours. Danny Brown - 'The OD EP' Three XXX bonus tracks on the A-Side, instrumentals for those tracks on the B-Side.

Tempted to let mine go but still not sure. Sleeve is a little rough and the disc has a couple audible scratches though (I bought it used for $7). It's the grey/green marble variant.
