I want all the Midwest emocore / slow core / indie / post hardcore / whatever heavy stuff Numero presses. I’m all for it. Can’t wait for Boys Life, American Analog Set, Chino Horde, etc boxes / releases this summer. Gonna be an expensive one, but I have a Numero cube for a reason. I’m actually going to Chicago next month and was excited to be able to visit the Numero outlet, but it’s only open on Fridays.

Indian Summer - Giving Birth to Thunder Available on Lightning (orange), black vinyl, and digital. https://numerogroup.com/products/indian-summer-giving-birth-to-thunder?variant=40262784975046 The fourth leg on the early emo table of Rites of Spring, Moss Icon, and Cap’n Jazz, Indian Summer’s Giving Birth To Thunder compiles their complete discography. Emo’s second wave crashed into the Bay Area in the summer of 1994 in a rage-filled capsule of quiet and loud, octave chords, angry sons, Spock haircuts, and screaming. At the eye of this pissed-for-the-hell-of-it storm were Indian Summer. In the quartet’s 12-month existence they wrote ten songs, appeared on half a dozen singles and comps, and played over 100 gigs across the U.S. and Canada before burning out, passing out, and moving out of their Blue House in Oakland. Their hand-screened aesthetic is replicated in alarming detail in the accompanying by 28-page book with detailed liner notes, flyers, and miscellaneous propaganda.

A’ight I’m making a new thread.
-
More so asking cause Numero is awesome and they release a lot of stuff. For keeping up with all of it, chatting, etc, then making a new thread per large / highly anticipated release, if that makes sense.
-
For sure feel that.
-
That’s fair. Sometimes I’m not sure which thread to bump with a repress such as this.

I think your use of the word ‘mint’ is a little loose. “discoloration otherwise mint”, “surface marks otherwise”. Think you should go over grading conditions and be a little harder on yourself. M sealed, NM unsealed but no damage at all, etc. And you can also do that on Discogs and make the notes, just FYI.- 41 replies

115k pressed means you should just have your own separate RSD. -

There are 300 people in line at my local. Mostly for the Taylor Swift release. Absolutely insane. It’s usually like 50 people. -
The Bronx (I) Repress - 2023
Sad Heart replied to IntoXAnother's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Can’t believe I just bought this, but I’ve been wanting it for a very very long time. Missed out on the 2018 repress and don’t wanna miss out again. Got the tri variant. I’m hoping their glow in the dark sounds good; never cared for those cause of sound issues. I do wish they had a regular black variant, but oh well. -
PO NOW : Foo Fighters - But Here We Are (06/02)

I’ll grab black as a place holder. I’m sure an indie / target / exclusive retailer variant will pop up later. Was hoping for a 2xLP 45, but oh well. At least their single LP is priced fairly. -
Would take either variant of it (black or blue). Prefer sealed, but NM is great too. Lemme know if you wanna sell. Thanks.

I’d love to eventually get TWATG on vinyl.

Never had the Duster box. Had the Bedhead and Codeine and unfortunately sold them a longggg time ago when I needed the money. Hoping to get them back one day. But definitely need the Duster box. I just reorganized all my record. I got new carpet installed in my house so I had to empty everything you, and when I put them all back I made a Numero cube. Numero deserves another cube full for sure.
-
Ah, good looking out. I’ll wait for that cautionary note to be removed. Thinking of grabbing the Duster box set while I’m at it. I know it’s gonna be expensive soon with AAS, Boys Life, Chino Horde, Boilermaker,… pray for my wallet.

Looks like you might be able to buy the Codeine represses now? Isn’t showing me any shipping addresses issue at check out or Apple Pay screen.

Damn. That song slaps. Looking forward to hearing more.
