  1. Buy it now name your price on Hibou (ex craft spells drummer* thanks julianisdead for the edit) solo project ep. http://hiboumichel.bandcamp.com Support this guy and get him signed! I missed his show tonight found out too late.
  2. It's a Kick Starter project too! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/940737263/a-very-special-new-stripped-down-sea-wolf-album Colored Vinyl for backers.
  3. Too bad Drag City didn't pull off a colored edition. I love Ty Segalls flare and this record from what I've heard, seems special and different as it mainly acoustic with a garage feel.
  4. Even more mellow than Goodbye Bread?
  5. http://lettingup.bandcamp.com/album/untogether 5$ for some nice dreamy vox, drum machine pop
  6. Agreed! It's a feel good/escapism record for me. For some reason I can't stop thinking about the super optimistic days I had here in San Diego during the 90s listening to "It All Feels Right" It just makes me feel that 90s awesomeness where hip hop exploded. But I also take in the fact that this is indeed a 2013 sounding record. "Don't Give Up" reminds me of DJ Jazzy Jeff/Will Smiths, "Summertime" "Great Escape" is a pure feel good track that I always bob my head to in the car while driving up and down the i-5. My favorite is "All Over Now" it's so dreamy and hopeful full of mystery and perfect ending to Paracosm.
  7. It's nothing personal. When are you going to get it though. It isn't what you're asking for. It's how you presented the idea. It's how you were so above everyone being hyped about this record. It's how you completely disregarded people who even remotely considered talking about the actual sounds of the record yet it wasn't good enough for you. Well you confessed you were frustrated so you have my sympathies. I've been on threads where peoples mindsets wouldn't budge. Tell you what, from here on out I will personally try to write an excerpt about newly bought records... Consider that your oatmeal raisin cookie
  8. http://capturedtracks.com/catalog/_merch/mac-pack-small-duplicate-duplicate-duplicate/ For anyone trying to grab those cassettes
  9. There are plenty of diiv records around the inter web!
  10. My advice is to remain positive. I wouldn't be sour with CT because it's really out of their hands you know? I mean they label the packages with the confirmation and tracking and address and that's the most they can do really. I second the wait it out. Hopefully the place where it's delivered will be a good samaritan and not accept the packages and they see you're name on them. And I don't know why it would be sent to another place anyways if all the shipping information is complete. Let's focus on what you have. The information you have is where the actual record was delivered right? Because it's confirmed with the tracking right? I think the next step would be to physically go to a post office. Tell them all you know. I'm betting they will say just wait and hope it's shipped back. It should be in the system if so.
  11. I wrote that. There's a little excerpt in the middle that talks about the music. With that being said. It doesn't bother me that people are more interested in obtaining the actual record. You pulled the "I've been here for a long time card" yadi yadah no one cares. If people want to post about where they can find a certain color who cares. A lot of people come here for information vs talking about it. Maybe because people like you chastise others for not talking about the music the "right" way. Instead you go on complaining about snippet responses and that's just so douchey man. It's douchey and pretentious, that's the bottomline. If you rub people the right way you'll get the responses you are looking for. From what it seems to me you want to be above everyone and keep them beneath you by making everyone feel small for not discussing the actual music. Not cool man. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure we all love your idea of talking about the actual record, but don't be so above it to the point you insult the whole of the thread.
  12. You'll never understand because of you're approach. Why not drop the overtly pretentious act, and instead of starting off as Maybe try asking, "Hey all, was wondering what you thought of the album that's barely been released and even though I have the leaked album and you may not, tell me what you think about the record on it's first day, then come back and give me a more in depth review, and then next time edit that review to only 1 paragraph and so forth." Even something like that is less douchey than your quotes. Because at least my example holds some weight while yours just steps on everyones throat and keeps us beneath you. Better yet, start a discussion and name it with the title "Washed Out-Paracosm Discussion" or something like that. Because from what I've read this was a PO thread and yea, that's probably going to be the main thing talked about? Maybe now you understand... a little...?
  13. Just having fun since you seem to be pretty serious Probably referring to the 250 from the Washed Out Kung Fu Store. He's probably just mis informed. You could also report it to eBay, if you want to take it to that level.
  14. For anyone interested. Just some info from Fat Possum. They said in an e-mail reply they are not printing any special edition colored records. Just good old black said Patrick from Fat Possum. Also if you're going for the Universal Music UK edition log in and register first so you can fix your shipment address settings. I logged in as a guest and am paying the price as I put the APT # in the wrong field and now awaiting an e-mail response. You've been warned!
  15. You could try Amazon.co.uk their shipping to the US is flat rate, I think it's 3.99 too.
