  1. The acetate was made-to-order in the same year, 1975, for a number of private collectors. From my knowledge about Japanese acetates made privately in 70s (there are few such acetate with Pink Floyd performances in existence), I can safely assume that no more than 5-10 were made in the first place, with quite possible this copy being the only one left in existence. Send me a message if interested.
  2. Caspian Live At Old South Church 1. Last Rites 10:34 2. The Dove 3:15 3. ASA 5:01 4. Concrescene 4:37 5. Sycamore 11:09 "Just wanted to let everyone know we're repressing the classic live LP from Caspian very soon! It will feature all new artwork (not pictured, that's the original artwork is shown above) courtesy our long-time collaborator Nate Shumaker. More information coming very soon, but we've been working on getting this repressed since much earlier in the year and we're finally just about there! So keep an eye out!" -Mylene Sheath So not only do we get a new album, a new live album, but a repress of a long out of print, classic Caspian album. Pretty stoked on that. *Will update accordingly. 06/04/15 Live at Old South Church features brand new artwork designed by longtime collaborator N.Shumaker of Northern Lights Industries. It has also been remastered for vinyl using all new plates for this pressing, so it's essentially a new, different version actually. But for the sake of continuity, we'll consider it a 2nd pressing. We'll start taking pre-orders for these ones around the end of July

  5. From Modern Vinyl (http://modern-vinyl.com/2014/07/04/nirvanas-92-93-performances-reissued/): Several live cuts and broadcasts from Nirvana’s 1992 and 1993 history are being repressed in the vinyl set Feels Like The First Time. The set, which features a Seattle concert, along with a performance in Melbourne and a Saturday Night Live broadcast, was pressed in 2012, but is now available again through Let Them Eat Vinyl. It looks like the artwork will be slightly different, as well. Tracklist: SIDE A (MTV Live & Loud 1993) 1. Radio Friendly Unit Shifter 2. Drain You 3. Breed 4. Serve The Servants 5. Rape Me SIDE B (MTV Live & Loud 1993) 6. Heart Shaped Box 7. Penny Royal Tea 8. Scentless Apprentice 9. Lithium 10. Endless Nameless SIDE C (Triple J broadcast 1992) 1. About A Girl 2. 6. Due to the bands not responding, the leftover tapes have been put up for auctions with updated j-cards. They're from the original 50 minus the new artwork. White w/ black j-card /5 Black w/ gray j-card /5 All proceeds will be donated to Angel Park in Perry Hall, MD. "Angel Park began from an idea that came to Kelli and Andy Szczybor after the loss of their baby boy, Ryan. From a sad origin, a bright and life affirming idea emerged – to build a place for laughter, activity and fun, for families and friends throughout the surrounding neighborhoods." http://www.angel-park.org/ Here is one of the j-card variants that will go with the black tapes. There's another that will be for the white tapes. ----------------------------------- Hey there kids! I'm proud to be releasing a live cassette recording split of Sorority Noise & The Hotelier from the last stop of their tour here in Baltimore. Basically, I took the recorder into the crowd and held it up. No digitial recording equipment or anything. Straight to cassette. With that being said, there will be feedback and some ringing. It happens. Information: /25 black (5 going to Sorority Noise) /25 white (5 going to The Hotelier) Handmade sleeves featuring Michael Cunningham's Specimen Days +a bunch of extra knick-knacks (sorry, no paddy whacks included) I'm aiming to get the price down to around $7PPD. Super excited. ----------------------------------- Not sure if any of you follow the Cassette Collective thread but I've been working on a project these past few months where I record shows on a cassette player. Why live? Because when you watch a band in person, you get their energy as well as the crowd's. You get the jokes that bands make between songs and the crowd singing along. That doesn't happen on a normal album. It's just straight through. Why cassette / cassette recorder? It's cheap and easy. When I can afford better equipment, I'll go with that. But in the mean time, this will have to do.
  7. Lucero is releasing a 4LP, 32 song live boxset recorded over three days from Atlanta on their last tour. It is set to be released on August 12. Check out the live version of "Tears Don't Matter Much" here. I'll update the OP tomorrow with the rest of the info!
  8. Tom Waits - My Father's Place (1977 Radio Broadcast) for the first time on vinyl! Here is the info from Sound Stage Direct: "This superb live recording is from late 1977 and finds Tom holding court in fine style at legendary New York venue, My Father’s Place. Despite its small capacity - circa 400 people – this humble abode hosted shows by superstars like Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Bob Marley, The Ramones and U2 during the 16 years it was open for business (1971-1987). It was also a hugely popular recording location for Long Island’s revered WLIR radio station, who broadcast the show across the airwaves." Track Listing: LP1 1. Standin' On The Corner (Live) 2. I Never Talk To Strangers (Live) 3. Pasties And G-Strings (Live) 4. Invitation To The Blues/Eggs And Sausage (Live) 5. Jitterbug Boy (Live) 6. Step Right Up (Live) LP2 1. I Wish I Was In New Orleans/Small Change (Live) 2. The Piano Has Been Drinking (Live) 3. Emotional Weather Report (Live) 4. Muriel (Live) 5. Jack & Neal/California, Here I Come (Live) 6. 10. I stumbled across this today on ebay, and I've never seen it before. I googled it, and nothing is showing up anywhere. The ebay listing says it's a 2014 European release - anyone have any information on this? Anyone own this? I've seriously never seen this until today, wondering if it's some sort of bootleg like the petta er island record. http://www.ebay.com/itm/321379377175?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1426.l2649

  13. as part of my attempt to recreate the VMLive Series of recordings that took place in chicago during the mid-90s, i have been taking my recorder around to a bunch of live shows in the city over the past year. when they turn out cool and the band or artist is into it, we release them for free download together. today, Issue #3 is released. it features Devon Kay (of Devon Kay & The Solutions, Direct Hit!, and The Fur Coats fame) playing solo and acoustic at Café Mustache. 10 songs, including some originals, some covers, and some alternate versions. it's a really fun set where you can hear the crowd singing along and the coffee machines in the background throughout. an old VC friend of mine named Errol did the mastering on these tracks, and has done a bunch of mastering for my label over the past year. he's an awesome dude who does great work. you can stream it on the site, but if you download the set, you'll get a digital booklet with some bonus info and pictures from that night and the mission statement of the A.I.R. Presents... series, so keep that in mind. head on over to www.artisticintegrityrecords.bandcamp.com to download Devon's set and a bunch of other awesome stuff for free. there are also a ton of great prints available and some other stuff in the merch section, so check that out while you're browsing and listening. the releases in this series so far* have been: # 1 - Purple # 2 - Mikey Erg** # 3 - Devon Kay *there are lots more that will be released throughout 2014 and beyond, so always keep checking back. i do all my releases on double dates (3/3, 4/4, 5/5, etc.) to make it easier for everybody to remember when shit's coming out. if you want to stay updated, LIKE us on facebook! **the mikey erg release is available for free download, and the physical CDs should be in within the next week. the original copies came in about a month ago, but the first batch that were printed up had a skip during one of the tracks on every single CD, so i had to have them re-made. it stinks, but sometimes those types of things are unavoidable. the wait will be worth it, hopefully.
